After questioning what I was doing and giving a couple cheers (you know, that "MAGGIEOFFMAGGIE!" cheer), my mom said, "Maggie! You are NOT allowed to sit on the ottoman!"
Oh. Right. Not allowed to sit on the ottoman. So I did this:

BRAVO BRAVO Maggie, I finks you deserve a hug and kiss and A TREAT!!! I often listen the same as you do to my momma and daddy and they reward me by taking me down off the chair, couch, or their lap, I nevers gonna understand them.

Dear Maggie, If you were neighbors, Hunter would invite you over to sit on his ottoman. Yes, he has his own that overlooks the street; his papa bought it for him. Now when he has his peeps over(Lily and Petrol)they all sit guarding the house. It must be a special piece of furniture if your mom won't let you on it.

Bravo! You did a grreat job. Obviously you can't SIT on the ottoman, because it makes you too tall and they can't see over you. You found the pawfect solution.
