Wear Red On Friday

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie!  A couple days ago, Mom (with the help of some FaceBook friends, to include my mentor Mr. Teddy Westlife's mum) came up with a challenge - dressing a Siberian Husky up in outfits and taking pictures of her.  Hmm.  Interesting.  Mom said there would be treats involved, so I thought I should sign up!

I asked Cam if she wanted to take the challenge, too.

"What kind of treats?"

Mom was using tiny (one-sixteenth of an inch, cubed) cookie pieces - I LOVE those!  Cam said to let me know how it goes.  Hmm.

We started with the sunglasses. I kicked things up a notch by jumping up onto the sitzbank.

"How's this, Mom?"

Mom took it to the next level by getting out a Buff and slipped it around my neck.

"Seriously?  We can do better than this!"

I almost felt guilty for taking the cookie pieces from her for that. Almost.

I thought I should go for a more "Bad To The Bone"/Biker Babe look. Check it out:

"Hey."

I know. I love that. Mom said that was enough for Day One.

So then yesterday, we started up again. I thought I should go for a more military look, you know - to show support for everyone serving in our Armed Forces! Cam said that sounded good to her, too, so she decided to participate! Here's our first shot:

We both have desert camo stuff tied around our necks; Cammie's is a little hard to see. Well, not just because it's camouflage.  Mom tied it on her, then I adjusted it really good. Mom kept trying to undo my efforts, but I persevered and won the battle.

I thought I should add RED into the mix, since I figured by   how much Mom was laughing   how pleased Mom was with the photoshoot so far, that it would go on today's blog.  Today, and every Friday, is R.E.D. Friday -- Remember Everyone Deployed.  So you wear the color red!  Here's what I came up with:

"The members of the US Armed Forces ROCK!"
"I think so, too, even though I'm not wearing red."

Unfortunately, we only have one red bandana Buff, so Cam didn't wear one. I'm sure she would have been willing to! Again, wanting to up things to the next level, I suggested Cam wear our sunglasses. Cam suggested I wear them instead. SURE!

"I'm ready to go riding with the Patriot Guard!  Or in Mom's HR-V.  Whichever."
"I'm ready for a cookie.  A big one."

I really think Cam needs to participate more actively during these photo shoots, don't you?  Maybe for our next challenge.  Until then ...

"I'm ready to roll!"
