Posing On The Limestone

Hello, everyone.  It's me, Cammie!  The other day, we were having a really nice walk with Mom and Dad.  Mom wanted to get some head-on shots of Maggie and me -- you know, as opposed to taking them from behind as we walk.  (You know the old quote - "Unless you're the lead dog, the view never changes.")  Wanting to cooperate, I stopped and did this:

"Hello."

Mom loved it, then wanted the two of us Siber-girls to pose together. Hmm. We waited until we got to the Hudson Trail, then jumped up on the chunks of limestone for her, like she likes us to do. You know, being the cooperative pups we are and all.

"Right.  'Jump on the limestone and strike a pose.'  Got it."
"La la la la la la la ...."

Apparently, she wanted us to face the same direction.

"Look over there, Cam."
"I'm on it, Mags.  How's this, Mom?"

Oddly enough, that wasn't quite what she had in mind, either. We eventually gave her what she was after:

"Yeah, yeah.  'Look at the camera.' Whatevs."
"Hello!"

Well, no, Maggie wasn't smiling, but you can't have everything! (Not without treats, anyway. Mom.)
