We here at Ao4 Headquarters have a long, long history of how Siberians best deal with the heat. Our great-brother Dave even wrote one of his famous Haik-Woos about it! Yes, I'm talking about the very same tip I shared with you a couple years ago -- laying on the air conditioning vent!
Allow me to demonstrate:
"Let's fire this baby up, Mom!" |
It's THE best way to stay cool! If you throw in a Sad Eyes Look like that, there's no way they can refuse you!
Be cool, everyone!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Oh Maggie, you are truly an expert. Stay cool,
ReplyDeleteNuk
We have the noisy window units. How we wish we had central aire, Maggie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect way to stay cool Maggie! We are pretty lucky here and it rarely gets above 70 so we don't need A/C!
ReplyDeleteMaggie, I think that is a fabulous idea! Of course having a fan nearby might make it even better. It's cloudy here but already in the 70's, so feeling pretty humid.
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic weekend.
Wags,
Noreen and Hunter
You're pretty clever Maggie. Maybe it's time to fill up your pool again!
ReplyDeleteMaggie and what a great way to get extra oxygen. Just tell mom you are acting as an a/c deflector...making sure the a/c goes to her promptly
ReplyDeleteLove the links you provided
Hugs madi your bfff
We think that is just being smart! Getting in the pool is another idea!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
We have wall mounted air conditioning units which are high up, so I can't lie over them, but it is nice to lie in the downdraught !

no no....you need to be ON the vent - trust us on this :)
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh - that is my favorite spot in the whole house!!! I am trying very hard to keep Misty from discovering the joy of my cool vent.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning
I must be part you. I need AC
ReplyDeleteEdward (& Lily)
But what pretty sad eyes! Yes they want to cool off like us
ReplyDeleteThat's an excellent idea.
ReplyDeleteyou've got the prime real estate there, Maggie! and we bet with that look of yours, you are cool now :) we wish our cold air blowy machine vents were on the floor. at least we have one that we can reach in the penthouse.

we have had to turn our AC on - gonna be 90 on Sunday

We don't need any AC around here to stay cool lately. It was 48 degrees when we woke up this morning and the calendar says it's June! It sure doesn't feel like it.
ReplyDeleteHi Maggie! What a great idea, we're going to have to try that. It's starting to get toasty here. ~Belle Pup
ReplyDeleteOur mom hasn't turned on the AC yet! We are so HOT here!
