Tip On Staying Cool

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie.  It's going to be over 100℉ here today (over 38℃, for our international friends). On days like this, it's important to exercise early, or at least not during the heat of the day, to stay hydrated, and to keep cool! The best way to do that, of course, is to be inside, in the comfort of an air conditioned house!

Like many of you, we have floor vents for our HVAC system. Let me see a show of paws -- how many of you lay right on top of the vents during air conditioning time? Yep, it's THE place to be, isn't it? I figured out a way to make that experience even more enjoyable the other day and thought I'd share it with you!

I was laying on the AC vent, on the nice, cool tile floor. Mom had her back to me and she heard a little metal almost-scraping sound. She turned around just in time to see me practicing my new skill -- adjusting the lever that controls the air flow! Of course, as soon as she grabbed her phone to snap a picture, I stopped what I was doing and covered the lever up ...

"Ooooh, does that feel----What?  I wasn't doing anything!"

But it's awesome!  Just move that lever around!  You can make tons of cold air blow right at you!
