Let's go take a look around. Ready to kick off the tour, Mags?
Our Red Creeping Thyme has gotten really big this year and is currently covered in tiny pink flowers! Here's Mag--...
"HEY! What's this?!!?" |
Umm... Maggie?
"No, wait! There's something in here!" |
It was just after Mags snoofed around the thyme a bit (looking for locusts) that Mom decided perhaps I should give the rest of the tour.
"Fine. 'Sit quietly under the maple tree.' Fine." |
Anyway, the thyme was fine after being stepped on - see?
"See, everyone (especially Mom)? It's fine!" |
Also in that photo, you can see our Becky Daisies:
And some of our Butterfly Weed:
The bees really like those flowers - but what they really love, especially the bumblebees, is our lavender!
It's doing really well this year - and that makes Mom feel very serene. Have you ever smelled fresh lavender? Mmm... so calming and lovely!
That's a wrap for now! I hope you enjoyed your garden tour.
Have a serene Sunday!
Cammie!

Hi Cammie, I love your tour! I love your yard; I'm missing our home right now. We are currently in Belfast and heading back to Dublin tomorrow. I'm really missing Hunter too. Not feeling up to par, very tired and fighting an infection. Hope you had a great day and I'll be in touch on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Mom wishes she could grow thyme but it doesn't winter well here. It will live a year or two and then die off. Your gardens and flowers are just so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥

We have some fresh lavender too! But it's not flowering at the moment, on account of it being the middle of winter here.
ReplyDeleteCan't help but feel serene in your yard. Awwwww, I can almost smell the lavender, very calming.

Michelle
We love to see the flowers in your yard, Cammie! Daisies and Lavender are fav'rites here. We used to have our own lavender plant in our catio. Mom says I ate, er, I mean over-pruned it...I say SHE over watered it...anyhoo...we don't have a lavender plant in our catio any more...
