One Benefit

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie!  It's been getting darker earlier and lighter later here in the Northern Hemisphere, which means a few things.  Obviously, it means the cold weather is coming (YAY!) but also that it's pretty dark when we start our walks now.  There is at least one huge benefit to this ...

"SCORE!"
"What did you get, Mags?!?!"

It was a nice, big cicada, buzzing like crazy!

"So close, yet so far."
"Dad can be really quick, you know?"

Yeah, Dad made me drop it.  That's OK, though.  So many more opportunities when it's dark out!

Are you walking in the dark now, too?

Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

  2. Oh my Maggie you should have been in Raleigh a few weeks ago. The Natural Museum hosted bug fest...all were encouraged to taste bugs and NOBUDDY
made them drop them. FYI: I WAS NOT one to taste.

  3. Yep...dark in the morning and dark when Dad gets home from work...but we also like all the different smells the nighttime brings!

  4. nice try, Maggie :) you two need to team up...one pup causes a distraction...
when wriggley was here, our mom purposely liked walking in the dark. she says thankfully he did not have a taste for bugs

  5. Mmmmmm, cicadas! It is dark on the walks for us too, but with mom's injury, we only can do what our dogwalker lets us do...no fun!
