A Few Questions And A Great Walk!

Greetings to all!  It's me, Mags!  Mom and Dad let us wear our new harnesses on our walk today - Ragnar and I couldn't wait to get out there and show them off!  Before I share our walk pix with you, though, our very dear kit-cat friends Isabella and Angel asked a great question on our post yesterday!

They wanted to know, "Can you show us the underside of those harnesses sometime too? Somedog here is curious."  Absolutely, kit-cat pals!  Please show this shot of Raggi modeling his harness to Lexi:

Can you see that? Our CTC Dog Gear harnesses have nice, thick padding, covered in a nylon fabric. They are com-fy!!! No rubbing or binding. And they dry fast if you get them wet.  Since you all live in the PNW, that's probably very important for Lexi!

OK!  For our walk today, we headed east on the big street then stopped to admire the sunrise at the trailhead:

"Oooh, look at the sunrise!"
"Uh huh.  Are we crossing the big street?"
"I thought we went that way yesterday..."

Dad said we could turn down Hudson Trail instead!  Yahoo!!!

"The trail is super dusty!"
"That's because Mom wore her new shoes."

Oops.  That part of the trail isn't very long anyway.  Before we knew it, we were on the paved part.

Me and Ragnar, on the trail!

At the end of the third leg of the trail, we turned up the road and headed uphill.

That was always Cammie's favorite hill to go up, so now we call it "Cammie Hill" in her honor.  We all still miss her very much.

We walked past the Kansas Ocean next:

"Any sign of our heron friend?"
"No ... I don't see him!"

We had to check for him, though!

Next, we headed up into the hills!

"What a view!"
"Totally worth the climb!"

Oh!  Our friends Millie and Walter also asked a question yesterday!  They wanted to know, "Do you wear the same size? We were wondering since you have the same color how do you tell each other's apart?"  Great question!  We DO wear about the same size and since we don't have name tags on these harnesses yet (we do on our black/white camo ones!) it was a bit confusing this morning!  Mine is adjusted a little bit smaller than Raggi's, so once we figured out which harness was which, Mom slipped a tag holder on Ragnar's.  You can kind of see it on the shot above; Mom needs to order more name tags!

Here we are up in one of the golf course communities:

Here's a nice shot of the back of our harnesses:

I thought you'd be able to see Ragnar's little tag holder thingy, but you really can't.

Anyway, here we are, on the descent homeward:

Happy pups, heading home!

What a great walk!  And a pretty day.  Thanks for coming along with us!  And thanks for the kind compliments and great questions about our harnesses!

Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

  7. We love your harnesses. Mom has always wanted to get us some, but she wonders if we would pull her more with those than with our gentle leaders. That was another great walk for you two.
