What It's All About

 Hi everybody!  It's me, Ragnar.  It's a bright, sunshiny day here in Kansas!  Mom wanted to take advantage of the lighting to get some shots of Maggie and me.  Apparently from in front of us, rather than by walking behind us.  Whatever.  Our first try came at a chunk of limestone along the way.

Mom asked us to jump up and sit.

"Great.  Here ya go, Mom.  Don't cooperate, Ragnar!"
"OK, I won't, Maggie!"

Maggie's really smart and knows JUST what to do in these situations!  She gave me a quick, "Check this out," then ...

"Ppthbthhhhh..."
"Good one, Mags!  I can't look.  Is Mom laughing?!?"

"No ... but she's reaching into her bag for something ..."
"What?"

Mom had been holding out on us.  She was actually packing COOKIES!!!

"You should have brought the cookies out earlier, Mom.  Save everybody some trouble."
"COOKIES!!!"

Further along on our walk, we ran into a community pumpkin display.  Most of the pumpkins were gone, but there were still a couple.  Mom  and Dad thought we should pose by them.   Maggie thought they were pretty lame-looking pumpkins and me, I was more interested in trying to eat some of that hay!  I LOVE hay!  Anyway, to make up for lack of scary pumpkins ...

 

"Do your Tough Guy Look, Ragnar!"
"Yeah!  How's this, Mags?!?"

Maggie and I were pleased with that one!  Mom wanted something a little more ... cutesy looking, so when we  were finally getting tired   paused by the Kansas Ocean, we gave her the money shot:

"Cute enough for you, Mom?"
"We look downright cuddly, don't we?"

It was enough to earn us the last of the cookies.  Because, let's face it, the cookies are what it's all about!!!
