"Alright, Mom! I want these sheets as smooth and flat as a mirror!" |
I smoothed and resmoothed and then smoothed some more! Mom kept messing up my work and ... it's like she was trying to pile the sheets in the center of the bed! It was crazy!
"Ha ROO!" |
I mean, it was fun, but there was work to do!!! She'd pile them up, then I'd flatten them back out! Wowzers, was it taking us a long time!
Mom kept cheering me on with that "ZimmieComeOnZimmie!" thing! She's real sweet like that! Guess who else came in to cheer me on?
"Wooooo! Go, Zimmie! Go!!! Woo!" "Thanks, Dave! It's a tough job, but somepuppy's got to do it!" |
I'm not sure what happened, but I ended up like this:
Action shot; sorry for the blur! |
It's not like I hadn't been in that position before ... but I couldn't for the life of me figure out why Mom kept piling the sheets on top of me!
Oh. Well ... Mom could have saved all of us a lot of work if she'd made that clear from the get-go!
"Who turned out the lights?" |
A Working Breed pup's work is never done!
Play bows,
SGT Zim

Sankissjuice
mom says this is why she shuts the bedroom door when changing the sheets (btw - we think Dave may have been laughing at you in the one picture)
ReplyDeleteZim, you are such a great help to your mom. I love the look on your face in those pictures. You look like you are about to jump off the bed and do some zoomies around the house.
ReplyDeleteCindy
Wow, what a lot of fun changing sheets is with you involved. Tell mom I also love the quilted wall hanging with the trees on it.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Noreen & Hunter
Zim you are welcome here any day to do a bit of housework. Will pay you in bones. Have a lovely Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Zim!! Oh my goodness I help with the sheets too. MOM does not call it help though, but I can't remember what she calls it exactly. Something called hindrance I think. I believe it means Super Helper in German or Latin. Think of what we could do if you and I worked as a team and if Dave gave us encouragement.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Now THAT looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteYou just can't expect humans to communicate clearly what they want done. Sheesh.
ReplyDeleteNora
Wow, what a super helper you are! Your mom needs to learn some communication skills.
ReplyDeleteZim, you are so cute! We have bed monsters in our bed too but it's not near as big as yours! Good job helping your mom tame those monsters!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what your mum would do without you. She'd never get anything done, really.
ReplyDeleteHuffs
What would your mom ever do without your great help, Zim?!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
mol! you know, Zim, we think your mom was trying to play with you to get out of doin the work! It's a good thing you are there. Really. Funny thing here tho, whenever our mom needs to get something done quick, she DOESN'T want our help...go figure...
ReplyDeletePip, Smidgen, minnie, HOllie
Poor Zim.... you did all that very much hard work fur... Hey... I was Gonna say Nothing... butt guess what? I think it was actually fur FUN.
ReplyDeleteZim, I have to admit I am kind of laughing at you a little. You are kind of goofy. I have no doubt that you were a big help, but the part where you got tangled up was maybe a bit scary.
ReplyDeleteMango Momma

ReplyDeleteYou two are the BEST!!
Cheers,
Maxx

ReplyDeleteDiamond
