By the entrance to one of the developments, there are some gorgeous flowering crabapple trees by a big retaining wall. Mom thought Cam and I should pose by them.
"Not feeling it, Cam. How about you?" "Not really, Mags." |
There was something else we'd rather be doing - if we weren't walking. Can you guess what that might be?
"BOOM!" "Urnfff!" |
Once we had that out of our systems (for the moment) ...
"Smile, Mags!" "OK, but I won't look at Mom!" |
We kept going up the hill and checked out a new office building they're putting in. I noticed a giant candy corn and gave it a little taste:
"Hmm..." |
For the record, I must agree with the original members of the Ao4 - candy corn isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Cammie stopped and struck a pose across the parking lot at the Pink Cow Marketing office.
"Hello???" |
We didn't see any pink cows, so they must have closed the office up early for the day.
We did stop and strike a nice pose behind the fire station:
Cam and me being very good girls |
Just up the hill a bit from there, Cam made a startling discovery and called me over.
"GASP!" "Brace yourself, Mags." |
Can you see it? A box. Or what's left of one. All crushed up and discarded. Laying there like a piece of unwanted junk!
"Can we have a moment of silence for this once-great box?" |
Definitely the lowlight of the walk. What did that box ever do to deserve that kind of treatment?!?
Anyway ... moving on to another highlight:
"LOOK! I found a STICK!" |
And it was a GREAT stick!
I hope you enjoyed our walk! Thanks for coming with us!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
