Hello, everyone. It's me, Cammie. When we're out birding, our mom doesn't always get "the" bird (or any bird) shots that she wants. Sometimes, she says she feels like the birds are all out against her. I was going through her photos from a recent outing at Tuttle Creek State Park and think I may have discovered what's really going on!
There we were, walking down one of the roads that's normally teeming with birdies when I heard one! I did exactly what Mom likes for us to do:
|
"Birdie!" |
I quietly sat down and waited patiently while Mom hoisted her camera up and started shooting away. What she got will both astound you and help explain "the ones that got away".
|
"Uh-oh! Man and woman with camera coming! Sweet, well-behaved Siberians with them!" |
I might have added the part about the Siberians...
|
"Must send a tweet out to warn the others!" |
|
"Attention fellow birds! Camera alert! This is a camera alert!" |
|
"Huge lens! FLY! Fly now before she gets a shot!" |
|
"This is NOT a test!" |
|
"Take wing NOW!!! Alert! ALERT!!!" |
Wow.
|
"We might as well go, Cam."
"Yep. C'mon, Mom. Pretty sure the birdies are on to you!" |
That sure explains a lot!
Cammie!
OMD looks like he was giving mum a high five. Have a serene and easy Sunday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Maybe Cam could talk to them with ear signals so they'd understand how much we love their beauty. Or not?
ReplyDeleteCammie!! That is SO funny! Who knew birdies send you tweets using hand signals?!? Great shots, mom!!
