Mags and I are out on the deck with Mom this morning, looking for birdies.

We're being really quiet so we don't scare away any birdies.

Maggie is very good at spotting birdies!

It was a little House Finch. They're awfully cute little redheads! Mom didn't get a shot of him (something about not wanting to point her camera at the neighbors' house), but it was nice to see him in action!

We moved on to other activities shortly after Mom snapped that shot with her iPhone.

We bark at all the starlings that come and scare the pretty birds out of our yard, but they think they are bigger than we are so they don't listen, and they just eat the food instead.

ReplyDeleteGood job of birdy watching. I like Sibe watching too and I love to come and see you both. We get some real pretty cardinals and blue jays and lots of other pretty birds here. I will start watching for them more and let you know what I find.
