When we got to the really big rock, Maggie jumped right up. I did not; I don't like doing that usually, so I don't. It's in my contract that I don't have to. Anyway ... with us being Siberians and Mom not having any treats in her pockets, this is how it went:
"Wait, Dad! My leash is in my face!"
Dad: "OK, Mags. I've got it. Now sit, please."
"Hmm. Wonder what's over there?"
"Thanks, Dad! How 'bout a kiss?"
Dad: "Good girl, Mags!"
"Oh... there's a nice cool breeze kicking up!"
Mom: "Girls?!? Look this way! Mags! At me, not at your daddy! Cam?!? Anyone? He-loooooo?"
"Hi, Dad! Whatcha doing?"
"This is so relaxing!"
Mom: "Girls! Hey, girls!"
"Oh, yeah, Cam! That breeze feels nice!"
"Doesn't it, Maggie?!?"
So, yeah. It's not easy for Mom to get "the money shot" sometimes. One more try?
"HEY! What's that?!?!"
"Sorry, Mom. All part of being the best Siberians we can be!!!"
Mom decided it was a wrap right after that one. Isn't it all about the thrill of the hunt? Or enjoying the journey? Or something like that? Hey, it was a nice rest during our hike, anyway!
