Tail wags, readers - it's me, Stormy. I loved reading all of your comments yesterday on our Wordless Wednesday post. Many of you hit the nail on the head about what was really going on - I was giving Zim orders. You see... Mom wanted to get some pictures of us "sitting nicely together". Ha roo roo roo. Like that's going to happen unless I want it to! Zim started to cooperate - he can't help it: he loves the camera and knows how to work it. But I told him this wasn't the time. Here's a little glimpse behind the scenes...
Don't do it, Zim! Don't look at the camera!
Then Mom asked nicely. So ... sure ... I'll look at the camera. How's this pose?
Fine... I'll look at the camera...!
That's my grumpy face; pretty good, isn't it? Thanks; I've worked hard on it. Oh, but then I saw something across the street:
Gotcha, Zimmie!
And then... he had to do it! He... he looked straight into the camera!
Hey, Mom! How's this? Going for the blue-eyed side?
Ha roo roo roo! Oh, we had such a great time! Even if he didn't quite follow my orders completely. That's half the fun of it, though.
Tail wags,
Storms

Hi Stormy
ReplyDeleteWe think you guys are very good at getting your pictures taken!
You are right to be in charge though - you cant have these humans thinking they can just take pics when they feel like it!

Poor Zim. It's a good thing he has you in his life, Stormy. (still, that belly shot of him is awfully cute. . . )
ReplyDeleteWe've been thinking....someday you should very cooperative and post for your mom. That would really confuse her and may result in a lot of treats.
ReplyDeletePrincess Eva
I was totally wrong about what was going on! You guys are a hoot!!
ReplyDeleteHa-roo roo roo! Great "grumpy face", Storms! I love this post - a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do to keep those boys in line!

It's great to see the making of a post revealed :) Glad to know we all take a pile of pics to get the right shot - I thought I was the only one blowing my paycheck on camera batteries!
ReplyDeleteStormy, I think I need to take classes from you. Mom always gets me looking straight into the camera.
ReplyDeleteMochi
Boys! They are just such trouble makers. They always want to look at the camera and be good for moms. Boys are lucky they have girls around to teach them how to behave properly.

Failure to follow orders. Tssskk, Tssskk.
