Hi everypuppy and everykitty! It's me, Amber! I was hanging out in one of my favorite thinking spots the other day , lost in a lovely daydream...
...when Mom said she was going outside to do a weather check and wanted to know if I'd like to come. Since I'm the Resident Meteorologist here at Ao4 HQs, I thought it was my duty.
We went out front first and looked north. This is what we saw:
That doesn't look too good, does it? We went out back and looked to the south. Here is that view:
Could be a storm or two blowing in.
Not much better, but there's a little blue out there. Way out there.
This has been an Ao4 Weather Moment.
Love,
Ammy
Chief of Meteorology, Ao4
We think we detect a bit of a smile hidden in that serious look. Please chase those nasty skies away, we are really tired of this rain.

You're a good meteorologist Ammy! Your report made my stomach churn because I remember those skies and always went straight to the basement after seeing them. Hope the storms stayed away from you though!
ReplyDeleteI love it when you're looking all serious. But my favorite is the first pic where you are looking so dreamy.
ReplyDeleteLove,
your Bricey

Can you read the weather as far away as Minniesnowda, Ammy? If you can I would like to know how long its gonna be until we get like, 3 nice warm days in a row?
ReplyDeleteThat would be soooo nice!
Kisses,
Jo
Guess it is getting too late for snow, eh? We did like the smirk in the serious picture, though.
ReplyDeletewow--- what a dramatic sky--good job on the weather post!
ReplyDeleteHi Ammy!
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos! That sky does look a little menacing! It's a good thing you are keeping an eye on things for us! Have a great weekend and don't forget to stop by and check out my Tibby Day celebrations! You could even win a prize!
:) Tibby
We see that little smile coming around! Be safe out there in the storms. We always worry about you all when we hear about those terrible tonadoes and such that hit from time to time.
ReplyDeleteYou look so dreamy in that first pic, Ammy!
Love, Shiloh

Hi Ammy,
ReplyDeleteNice work! I have a weather station that shows me the temperature inside and outside. But it doesn't predict the weather.
Ozzie
Oh, Ammy, this time of year can be a scary one when you live in the Midwest! I remember spending LOTS of time in the basement of our house when I was growing up. Good luck with the skywatching.
ReplyDeleteDid you get that storm or did it blow over, Ammy? That's one angry looking sky!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Your serious look is very cute! :)
ReplyDeleteNice sky pics! I hope it doesn't storm too much this weekend!
Mochi
What a great serious look, I am almost convinced. hehe. weather is not looking good here either.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, even when serious....as ALL weather girls should be :D
ReplyDeleteI hope the storms aren't too bad, it's really windy here today.
Have a great weekend!
Slobbers xx
Wow Ammy, that doesn't look too good at all. Stay out of the rain!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by today. I use to be super scared of spring / summer weather because when I was a child we were in a tornado while camping and it came on so quick that me and mom didn't have time to take cover. Our camper ( pull behind) was flipped a few times and the awning wrapped so we were trapped for a few hours. Today what keeps me calm when the storms come is watching the sky and my Ham Radio!
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring ... Be safe!
Ammy, mum LOVES your serious look!
ReplyDeleteHuffle Mawson
Thanks for the weather update...we now return you to your regularly scheduled nap!
ReplyDeleteGreat serious look and that daydream one was cute too. :)
ReplyDeleteNala
Heya Amber,
ReplyDeleteThat was an excellent weather report, much better than Jim Cantore does. Best of all we got to see the Manhatten Skyline from your deck. To tell ya the truth, it wasn't as impressive as we thought it would be. They didn't look like a lot of tall buildings; maybe it's more impressive at night when "the Manhatten Skyline is a glow.." OBTW: What were you staring at form the deck last week?

Amber, Storm Spotter. You're in the SS. LOL!
ReplyDeleteSiberian Steve (oh, look, I'm in the SS too.)
