Beat The Monday Blahs!

Ha roo, pups and cool-cats! It's me, Zim! What's the best way to beat the Monday Blahs? If you ask me, it's to go on a walk! Me and Ammy took Dad on a nice long one this morning; Storm, Dave and Mom found us while we were out and we all walked home together. Mighty cool. Well-worth having to get toweled off for. Neither Mom nor Dad had a camera, but trust me, it was fun and we all shook those "blahs" away! Since I can't show you pix from this morning, here are some from a couple days ago - one of our afternoon walks. This one was me, Dave, Am and Mom. Ready to beat the "blahs"? Let's go!

One of the great parts about living in the Flint Hills is getting to the top of a hill and enjoying the view! Check this out:

Doesn't the sky look cool? Dad actually thought Mom had doctored the photo up a bit, but that's really what it looked like!

Mom took a couple pix of us enjoying the view. Here's another:

Oooh, I can see and smell EVERYTHING from up here!
Hey, Zim. Maybe you should tell the readers what we're looking at.

Oh yeah ...

See out there just below the horizon?

...that's Colbert Hills Golf Course. Dad is anxious for some warmer, drier weather so he can get back out there and play!

Anyway, we did some more up and down the hills action, then Mom said Ammy should get us boys in line and herd us on homeward. Mom got out in front of us for this shot:

Don't I look serious? And Am has that million dollar smile of hers going. And wow... I wonder what Dave found!?

Here we are, heading down the home stretch:

We can make room for you in our formation if you'd like to come with us this afternoon!

  25. Anonymous8:25 PM

Hey Zim, We'd like to do an exchange tour and join the formation but you need to leave a bigger space cuz we're our own squad. Y'all don't seem to have very much snow out in your parts; would you like a ton or two of ours? We have plenty to spare.

  26. Speaking of golf courses, I was thinking the other day that maybe Stormy could add a golf class to the School of Siberian Studies. My mom's coworkers make golf comments and jokes all the time and my mom doesn't get them, so I would like to enroll her in the class.
