Like I said, we got all the way to the water tower. Once we were there, I started acting ... well ... maybe just a little bit silly. Here's a collage:
I was just happy and dancing and started telling jokes and stuff. You know ... like I told the boys if we could get to that water tower, we could make a big splash. Hee hee hee! Things like that.
We started heading home and I was still acting just a little silly. So Zim said maybe he should take on herding duties. He was looking pretty serious and in charge ...
... so Mom said he could give herding me and Davy a try. Here's a look at that:
He wasn't really into it and got a little distracted ...
... and things got kind of ... just really unorganized!
Not back there, Dave. Over here!
Umm... I think I'm ready to get serious and herd the boys again!
So Mom put me back in charge, and I did my best to get the boys back in line!
It was much better that way.
Dave, Zim and me (Ams!)
Since he's a Drill Sergeant, he needs to think more along Drill SGT/troops lines instead of the shepherd/sheep lines! I think that will work better for him!
For those of you with snow - enjoy! We might get another round tomorrow. I haven't made my snow-cast yet!
Love,
Ammy
We have just commented on Friday!!! Anyway great pics - loved the collage with the pink frame. We are always getting our leads twisted up too.

You did a great job getting the boys back in line Ammy! We were worried it was going to get unruly there so it was good you took over. Where was Stormy?
ReplyDeleteNice job herding, Ams & Zim. By any chance, did my penguin-herding video inspire woo?
ReplyDeleteHere's a joke for woo, Ams...

ReplyDeleteAmmy, you sure are the life of the party! Good job keeping those boys in line! I thought for sure you were tough competition in the Herding group at MM 2010!!
ReplyDeleteLicks,
Kylie
You did a very good job of sorting out the herding Ammy. Obviously that is not my bestest friend's strong point.
ReplyDeleteHuffs
Ammy you are the best at getting the organisation going.. Keep up the good work.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteExcellent work, Ammy. Funny - none of the boys of The Herd can "herd" at all (the pun is just for you). It always takes a female.
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute playing in front of the water tower!
ReplyDeleteGood job getting the boys in line. You guys are some talented leash braiders!
Ams, those boys wouldn't know what to do without you! You 3 look marvelous together. I'm not ready for any more snow....please say it isn't snow (ha roo roo)
ReplyDeleteSnuggles,
Twix
Zim looks promising for herding but maybe he just needs some distraction training.
ReplyDeleteKat
Great job! I can only walk 1 at a time, can't imagine 3.
ReplyDeleteI just love that last picture! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job getting everypup in order! And great job to your mom for walking all 3 of you!
Mochi
Ammy you are really good at that.. Bet you get to herd again real soon...
ReplyDeleteBig Sloppy Kisses
Gus, Louie and Callie
Love that third pic up from bottom with everypup looking in a different direction! (Of course, Ammy, hoomans do that all the time heheh!) I can see, though, that all three of you looked in perfect formation by the time you were headed home! Good job! Hope you got some treats!
ReplyDeleteHugs ox
Sammie
I never had much luck walking two Goldens together - or back in our Great Dane days - even one Great Dane! I imagine it is pretty exciting walking your crew together! They really are beautiful dogs!
ReplyDeleteSam's Mom
Hey Ammy,
ReplyDeleteYou need to go on Lettermen. We love your jokes. You must just crack everyone up with your quips. If Zim is such a good Drill Sargent why wasn't he barking out orders.
