Thanx Twix Tuesday!

Tail wags, dear readers! It's me, Storm, here with today's post. We received such a lovely package in the mail last week from our sweet friend Twix! Remember she had a book give-away on her blog? We won! We were very surprised and delighted!

We all had fun checking everything out. Here's Ammy with the book, "Dog Lover's Daily Companion".

Oooh! That little pup in the window looks like Twix!

Then she opened the cover and look what was inside!

There's our beautiful friend!

There was a nice note inside from Twix with a beautiful photo of her! It's now hanging on our magic cold box, low enough for the boys to see it! Ha roo!

I checked out the book and found the essay on the left-paw side especially interesting:

Hmmm... "Obedience Training". Wonder what else I can train Mom and Dad to do?

Ha roo roo roo! Just kidding. I perused the book for a while, and thought it really looked interesting! I passed it along to Dave after a while to see what he thought -

Woo, this chapter looks great! "Adopting an Older Dog"!

Zimmie and I were about a year and a half old when we each adopted Mom and Dad, and Dave was already about 4. We really like that part of the book a LOT!

This makes me feel all schmoopy and stuff...

Adopting older pups totally rocks, trust us! You're saving a life, some of us have already had some training and,
hey, some of us have already even been spayed or neutered! Dave and I were!

Zim spent a lot of time looking through the book...

Hey, a Lab with a tennis ball. I wonder if Dave saw this. Ha roo roo roo!

... and also checking out a really sweet card Twix's mom sent to our mom.

Oh, this is really special!

She said really sweet stuff... so in addition to thanking our pal Twix for the book and card, we'd also like to thank Momma-o-Twix for everything. And how best to thank her? We know one thing that she loves... and I tasked Zim to pose for Mom for this one. Without further ado, this is for Twix's mom:

Zim's feety-feet!

Yeah, we know you love 'em! And trust our mom, Zim's do smell like Fritos. Ha roo roo roo!

Many, many thanks to Twix and her mom for the very wonderful book and cards!!! What we treasure most of all is your friendship!

Tail wags,
Storms

What a great book Twix sent you and you read it so well - how cool that it has a pic of Twix in too.

  3. Hey Zim,

Lots of new bloggers in the last year or so who should really see your Dental Health blog. The one where you show us how to get your toofies brushed. I think you ran it about a year ago now.

Will you run that one again? I just loved it and could use a little brush-up (ha ha) myself.

    Kisses,
    Stella

Boy, that's a swell prize y'all won from twix. We'd like to get a copy so that we can start training mom & dad. But we heard that some humans are untrainable, even if you try to use proven methods. We think that our GOM is one of them kind of humans. Having feety-feet that smell like fritos is a lot better than having forty-feet that smell like some of the stuff that we track into the house.
