Ah, golf! As you may know, our dad loves the sport. We even have our very own course right here within Ao4 HQs, as seen at this link. I've observed and studied this game and really, Kat, it's quite simple and one post ought to do it.
It all comes down to one thing. Whoever hits the ball the fewest times wins. It's that simple. So ... why go out at all?
Think about that one!
See what I mean? Stay home with your Siberians and you not only win the golf match, but you win something else as well. Let me illustrate; here are my dad and I - and he's not golfing!
Hey Storm and Dad! Can I not golf next?!!?
Looks like he scored big time, doesn't it? Zim was anxious to not go golfing with our dad, too. I was still busy rewarding Dad for a great round of not golfing. Look at how happy he is!
OH, yeah! This is sooooooo wonderful!!!
So you see, Kat - if your mom stays home with you, she doesn't even hit the golf ball at all, thereby winning the match. AND she wins by spending time with you, Steve, and Wilbur. And your dad. Everyone's a winner in this case!
Thanks for a great question - and thanks for studying at the Stormy Zoluschka Kryschtal School of Siberian Studies.
Tail wags,
Storms
That's a grrreat strategy, Stormy!! We're definitely going to pass it along!
ReplyDeleteOur Moms wants to know, if she can come hug you too!
Have a pawsome weekend!
Woofs and Kisses!
This is totally why I asked you for help! It makes perfect sense! And you know what, if she wants to play with a ball, she can play ball with me! And I promise, the winner is not the one who hits the ball the least.
ReplyDeleteGreat lesson once again, Stormy!!
Kat
That's a wonderful lesson! You are an excellent teacher Stormy! The pictures are excellent...in the last one, I can't tell who looks more happy, Stormy or your Dad! Lots of love, Debbie and Hollydog

;oD
I have one question, well you know me, after all this years, I am a most questioning and confused dog, but you are so knowledgeable about Stuff, so I am positive you can answer this one.
I am worried about your friend Kat's mum. Does she work with the Giant Cow?
After all she talks about her ....and I quote here...."my mom's coworkers".
Is she really working with the Giant Holy Cow you saw the other day?
Boy, this blogging reading is confusing for a dog like me who is trying to learn....
I am sure you will let me know the answer.....?
love and licks, Marvin xxxxxxx
Nothing like a Siberian to make things clear!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Stormy and you looked real cute with your Dad! By the way, where did you get your Dad? I don't have one and I might like to pick one up wherever you get them.
Kisses,
Stella

Hey Stormy,
ReplyDeleteWow! That's really GReat insight. Our dad says to tell you he would've loved to have had this information years ago. Evidently his philosophy has always been to hit the ball the most; which is evidently wrong. He says that other advantages of non-golf over golf are: it costs less to play non-golf than golf, you don't need atee time to start a game of non-golf, it's usually a controlled environment when you play non-golf as opposed to being exposed to the elements (rain-wind-snow-sleet, etc), in non-golf the other participants don't usually criticise your swing or club selection, and you don't have to buy all the other non-golf player's a round of beers for winning and hitting the ball the most times.
The photo's of you and the dad are the best reason to play non-golf.

Thanks for the lesson. I am going to go and find somebody not to golf with right now.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
We agree Storms you all win if you stay home with Mom. You probably get a lot more play time with her..

That was a great lesson Stormy and makes such good sense! Your dad looks very happen with the lesson too - wonder if he'll still be happy once the weather is warm and the grass is green? Hmmm. You'll have to let us know if he flunks out of school sometimes.
ReplyDeleteHee! Hee! Stormy - I like your golf philosophy!
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Honey the Great Dane

ReplyDeleteBy the way, my dad walked past the computer as I was reading this post, and he said that you look BEAUTIFUL!

Hi Guys,
ReplyDeleteOne golfer in the house is enough! That's what we tell mommy!
Riley and Star.
Woo - that hazard on the 18th hole is pretty tough - chuckling (and we loved the announcer).
ReplyDeleteBy the way, our hu-dad thought the point of golf was to ride in those carts and drink beer. And he said he can drink beer at home and be with us. So sounds like he had long adopted your golf strategy before going to your class. Every now and then, he gets smart on his own.
BOL..Stormy, we love your idea on the golfing thing!
ReplyDeleteMight do a bit of that ourselves very soon! :)
We hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday!
Sibes are so smart. Such wisdom!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why a Sibe isn't president. their logic is so sound!
ReplyDeletei love the hazzard on the green from your other post! keep up the hazzards!
wags-n-wiggles,
