I had a really wonderful day, full of interesting walks, zoomies, naps, more walks and treats!!! Here are some fun pix from one of our walks. I liked this one best because all six of us went together!
Here I am, early on in the walk:
Me - Ammy!
I thought I had found a tasty morsel on the sidewalk; sadly, it was just a leaf. It could have been something yummy, though!
Here's Stormy, out in the lead:
Storms
Doesn't she look regal? She is such a great leader!!!
Zimmie and I had great fun on the way home showing Dad a new braiding technique we've been working on. Check out our leashes:
Me - Ammy - and Zim: Braiding 1o1
Daddy just loves it when we do that!
While we were "doing the twist" with Dad and Mom was busy taking a picture, Storm took advantage of the opportunity to get into something! Here she is with Dave:
Dave looks on in admiration, while Storm finds something
Stormy says that teamwork is an essential part of being a Siberian Husky, as is taking advantage of the bipeds being distracted. She's so smart, isn't she!?! I love learning from her!
When we got home, Mom wanted a photo of all four of us. We refused.... until she pulled out the cookies.
Me - Ammy - in front; Storm, Zim and Dave behind me.
We can't help it. As our vet says, we aren't food-aggressive at all, but we are food-motivated!
I hope you enjoyed the pix from my birthday! So far, 11 is very good!
Love,
Ammy

ReplyDeleteYour birthday sounds wonderful, (any excuse for a walk is wonderful, ha-roo roo). Storms does look regal out front in the lead, and she's right about Siberian teamwork. It's what we were made for! I've been teaching Moo about walking on a leash & she is already very good at braiding!
ReplyDeletea-roos to yous,
jack a-roo
Love the pictures of your walk!! I am so glad that you had a great birthday Ammy! I knew it would be!! Storms definitely looks very regal in that picture and I love the braiding 101!!! I wish I could sent our snow to you...we have a mountain of it with more to come. Hollydog is sound asleep from being outside in it and making zoomies all over the yard!! Lots of love! Debbie and Hollydog
ReplyDeleteGreat looking walk there!! We don't blame you! We'd have our picture taken for cookies too!
ReplyDeleteWoofs and Kisses!
Cookies do it for me and Bilbo too!!

That braiding trick is pretty fancy. ;)
ReplyDeleteNala
We love the braiding technique but what happens when someone wants privacy to do peepees?
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Great braiding, but I think Steve and I could give you a run for your money. I think leaves can be tasty sometimes, especially bamboo. Unfortunately, Mom and Dad cut down all of the bamboo I used to chew on.

Glad that you had a wonderful birthday Ammy! Sounds like a fun-filled day! We always like your food-motivated photos!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had such a good birthday Ammy. And you look very sweet in your group photo!

You're all so cute! Mom and dad never take all 4 of us at one time, they say we are too bad to do that! BOL
ReplyDeleteBraiding 101 is pawesome!
ReplyDeleteSure you know how to do it!
Glad you had a nice day!
Kisses and hugs

ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
We love the piccies from your birthday Ammy.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a lovely day with your family. :-)
Thanks for sharing it with us. :-)
Glad you had a great birthday!
ReplyDeleteI'm very food motivated too! Unfortunately, I can be food aggressive but that is because I'm not used to having to share with other doggies....that sounds like a good excuse don't you think? I'm glad you had a wonderful birthday, Ammy. Your pack knows how to treat you right! I know you told me it was gonna snow but that doesn't mean I have to like it, does it? I like you but not the snow.
ReplyDeleteSnuggles,
Twix
Tanner is still trying to figure out how Stormy gave birth to Ammy...its going to be a long day here.
ReplyDeleteI love that last picture! :) You pups are great at braiding! Hmm...maybe if I got a sister or brother I could practice that too!
ReplyDeleteMochi
What a GReat birthday Ammy. It sure is fun to go on walks with the whole gang. That only happens here if sissy Sarah and her husband Bill come over. Bill and dad take 3 each and Sarah and mom get two each. Bill or dad sometimes gets the 2 Newfs and the othr get 4 GRs depending on how well everyone seems to get a long. Usually we max out at 4 dogs per walk or only 2 Newfs. We think that we are all food motivated except Jubal; he's head pat motivated. Radar is sometimes a bit food aggressive but dad thinks it's because he's blind and the rest of us are always trying to steal his treats and stuff. Don't see what the conection could be there.
