The first guy I caught up with was Adrill!
"Adrill!!??!! Is that you up there on the counter?!!?" |
It was great to see him! And to hear him again! He had a lot to say - he got right to work the first day and really didn't rest until the whole thing was over and done with. What a great work ethic. He must be a Working Breed like me.
He had lots of other guys with him -- check this out!
I had such fun snoofing them! I saw lots of familiar friends in there! Asaw... Ahammer... it was great!
"Oh, don't worry! I know to be careful around all these guys!" |
One of the bipeds from the crew was standing right there, so I assured him I'd be real careful with everything. Safety first! as we say around Ao4 Headquarters!
"Oooh, anything interesting in here?!?" |
Not that I'd get into the trash. Puh-lease. I was just ... checking it out. Really. Moving right along...
Outside, I saw yet another friend also named Asaw!!!
"Asaw!" |
I didn't know Asaw worked outside! Mom said he was helping with the tile work and there was lots of water involved; it was warm out, so it's nice that he got to splash around a bit!
I thought it was pretty cool seeing two old friends both named Asaw, don't you?
Dave and I got to eat lunch out on the deck while everyone was here. It was pretty nice. Mom said we were dining alfresco, but I never saw anyone named Al so I have no idea what she was talking about. Anyway, right after lunch one day, Dave looked into the kitchen ...
"What the ... Asaw?!? Zim! You aren't going to believe who else is in there!!!" |
Can you imagine THREE friends with the same name?!? And all of them showing up to help with the remodel!?! How crazy is that!??!
More pix of the remodel to come, as Mom downloads and processes them! I hope you enjoyed seeing some of my old friends!
Play bows,
Zim
WOAH! You know a lot of guys with the same name!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm really proud of all your snoopervising efforts. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Nora
Holy cow, that's a lot of friends with the same name! Do they all know each other, or did they meet for the first time at your renovation? Hey, maybe they're friends for life now thanks to you! What a great legacy to leave. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like the kitchen is coming along nice. I'm glad you "saw" so many old friends.
ReplyDeleteCindy
wow - you guys seemed to take that whole project in stride (must be a working dog thing). we had some work done around here by our grandpa and the noise was VERY scary (but that asaw guy was here too....weird)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh....we have those guys here all the time. They LIVE here in my Dad's van! Bryn doesn't like them cause they make noise and that makes her nervous but anything my Dad does, he does it with me nearby. Love that Dad....
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what the Asaws did to your Mom's kitchen!
Dolly
kinda wondered how Re Model was doing in all this..............? okay I hope. After all it all seems to have been "all about him".... ;0D
ReplyDeleteand I am so so looking forward to Re Model's pics.........
ReplyDeleteHow cool that all your friends came over to help get your kitchen done! We hope they worked fast so your mom can make you more treats in her new kitchen!
ReplyDeleteI only have one asaw friend and I only see him in the summer after the wind blows down a tree or if we are getting firewood.
ReplyDeleteI don't really care for asaw but at least now, thanks to you, I know what his name is.
You have a lot of cool friends, AND with the same name! WOW. I like ASAW, we have a couple around here. And you know what? ASAW helps me with sticks and lumber tid bits. Just cuts them off and they fall and I carry them away.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
