Here's where we landed:
How exciting! I hadn't been to the Farmers' Market in quite a while!
We looked all around. That in itself was great fun! Unfortunately, it's too early in the year for much locally-grown produce, but I did see a lady with a bunch of herbs you could take home and plant. I thought I might be able to find something for some of my friends!
"Excuse me, ma'am. Do you have any catnip?" |
It was worth a try, but she seemed fresh out.
"OK! Thanks anyway!" |
Maybe later in the season or something.
Mom came home empty-handed, too. Later in the Summer, things will pick up and we'll be back! And it was still fun to go to the market!
Play bows,
Zim

I like to go to our Farmer Market too. There is this one lady there that has a pet goose (not like me but with feathers) and she pushes him around in a little baby stroller and she makes him wear a diaper. Makes me glad that this Goose can walk on his own and there are no diapers involved.

Trips are fun even when you don't bring anything back. The important part is seeing something new and spending time with your mom!
ReplyDeletesometimes the most fun is just looking around.... (thanks for the attempt on the nip though)
ReplyDeleteThat really stinks about the catnip. She'll probably stock up on it next year!

PS. CRACKING UP about the lady with the goose in a stroller!

OMD Farmer's Market AND the Kansas Ocean... all in one day???
ReplyDeleteNow that's my kind of day! Glad you had fun!
ReplyDeleteYou always get to go to cool places Zim! I don't get to go to the farmers market for some reason yet I hear there's always lots of other dogs there. Mommy put photos of some on her FB page (the personal Beaded Tail one). Can't wait to see your trip to the Ocean!
ReplyDeleteWoos,
Sadie
PeeS: The landscapers will also be taming the jungle (aka our yard) besides putting down 6 yds of mulch so that's why it'll take so much work.
A walk, lunch, the ocean, farmer's market all in one day. What a great day you must of had.
ReplyDeleteThe silvers and more
Farmer's market looks like fun. Did they have any dog biscuits there? Thanks for stopping by our blog. We'll see Bert and Goose again tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteYour friends,
Murphy & Stanley
What a shame there was no catnip! Maybe ask for Valerian root next time.
ReplyDeleteHuffs
Did they have any basil, Zim? Mom wants to plant some of that for pesto. yummmmmm
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
You sure had an action packed day. BTW I was making those same squee noises when I saw our fawn too. Especially when she was right under our window.

Zim, we can tell by your smile that the farmer's market was a great adventure to top the day! we hope there'll be catnip plants later. don't forget some carrots for your bunny friends :)
ReplyDeletePip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie
They are just starting up our Farmers Market here and it is "The Thing" to do. Maybe I can get My Vickie to take me this year.
ReplyDeleteHi Zim, I had a bad day. On days like this, all I want is to be able to spend all my awake hours with my pets, the way your mom and you go on adventures together.
ReplyDeleteReading your blog brings back some serenity.
Sure it is great to go to your Farmer Market!
ReplyDeleteI know you enjoyed walking around there!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
