Do you remember me telling you about my kit-cat friend who lives down in one of the cul-de-sacs in our neighborhoods? He was outside last night and came over to say "meow"!!!
"Zim! Is that you?" "Ha roo, kit-cat pal!" |
He came closer ...
"It's so great to see you!" |
Nose touchies!!! "What ... the ... cat?!? Ouch, my ear, Zim!" |
I kinda forgot Dave was with us (you can see his ears there in the foreground - right under my leash) -- but my friend and I touched noses! It was great!
"Mmm-ow!" |
I was trying to get into a down-stay, but Mom was trying to pull me away. Why? Let's just say that despite me trying to convince him otherwise, Dave doesn't quite see kit-cats in the same light that I do!
I think the nose-touching thing means we're pretty good friends.
"Come down and visit again soon, Zim - OK?" "I'll do my best, kit-cat pal!" "How in the name of Balto does he reel them in like that?!?" |
They're building a new house in that cul-de-sac, so my friend has lots of snoopervising to do!
I have a feeling he was planning to do a little dumpster-diving later on!
It was great seeing my friend - and so cool doing nose touchies!!!! Do you love running into friends as much as I do?!? What a blast!
Play bows,
Zim
My heart was a racing when i saw that cat coming toward you...but then it turned out just fine..isn't there a saying about keeping your enemies close to you?? hehhehehe

Wow! That is a brave kitty!

Hi Zim, That was so cool; many times cats are that friendly unless they've been around pups before. I'm glad you have a good friend.
ReplyDeleteHave a pawsome day!
Noreen & Hunter
Oooh,I would love to do nose bumping with a woofie. We have a park at the end of our round so we get to see quite a few woofies :)xx
ReplyDeleteawww - how nice that the kitty likes you (and that your mom wouldn't let Dave eat him).....
ReplyDeleteI nose-touch kitties all the time. My kitty sister loves to snuggle with me. :) I'm glad you make kitties feel so at ease.
ReplyDeleteOh, that is so awesome that you were able to do nose touchies with that kitty!
ReplyDeleteDrools and licks,
Minnie, Mack and foster Mario
Zim, you really are a cat whisperer.
ReplyDeleteCindy
We'd be doing some chasing given half a chance.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
We have a cat named Chant. She is 14 and gets on quite well with me [Checkers]. We're not real sure how she and Chess will do yet.
ReplyDeleteCheckers & Chess
We dont get it Zim though we do admire it. We are much more in the Dave Camp on this one; Go Team Dave!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteRemy and Flash
You touched it's nose??!! I am impressed. But I am a little more like Dave. Although recently I did lay down on an outdoor swing with..... (dramatic music here)ALLRED! I should show you the picture some time.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Zim, you are just too cool . . .even kitties love you.
ReplyDeleteNose bumps are nice but my personal cat would probably give me a nose smack with her paw.
Cheers,
Stella and Zkhat
We just can't figure out how you could not want to chase that kit Kat,what a good friend you are. And what a very brave Kat
ReplyDeleteThe silvers and more
Your kitty friend reminds me of the Alley cat. Yes, your mum mentioned Zim is the cat-friendly one. I saw batman's ears sticking out in one of the photos. Rich Boy and Sasa have never touched nose. I wish they would do it. He just loves to sniff his butt. You are a good cat-lover, Zim. I am very proud of you.
ReplyDeleteSankissjuice
PS: Is it just the angle or did you lose weight, Zim? You look a lot thinner in these photos.
ReplyDeleteSankissjuice
Haha - Blueberry loves running into friends - but kitties she wants to chase. She isn't to be trusted! Maybe you could teach her that cats make great friends! :)
ReplyDeleteWe already knew that kitties love you Zim because we sure do! Touching noses is certainly a sign of love!
ReplyDeleteOH the dogmanity! Juno would have to take Dave's side in this debate... those black and whites stick together when it comes to kittehs...
ReplyDeleteI have a kitty friend and nose touches are the best! Here is a pretend nose touch for both of you * *.
ReplyDeleteLoveys Sasha
Nose touches are a sign that we like you. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteHuffs
I hope that Dave will VOTE fur MADI fur Mayor of Blogville though. You too, of course.
ReplyDeleteOMD OMD you touched Noses with the Neighbor. COOL DROOL!!!
Wow!
ReplyDeleteNose to nose!
That was pawesome, right?
You are soooo lucky!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
I can't believe Dave lets you be friends with all the kitties like that.
ReplyDeleteHEY DAVE! You come over here and we'll chase some of those kitties.
Nora
Zim! We're so proud of you and your kit-cat pal. Around here we labs have Maui for a sister so we're always 'in touch' - get it? In touch? When she cleans our ears her whole face disappears inside. We like still and let her do it cause she's the queen and we know better than to argue with her.
ReplyDeleteBryn and Dolly
Oh my! You're very gentle Zim! I would have yanked the leash and probably get a scratch on my nose for doing so..! ;-0
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Maxx
hee hee! Zim, you are such a charmer! our Wriggley tends to be more like Dave :)
ReplyDeletePip, smidgen, minnie, Hollie

ReplyDeleteNow I know why we don't see a lot of your momma on your blog. I think she has three arms! How did she hang on to both of you AND take photos?
ReplyDeleteQuite an adventure. Next time, phone ahead on a day when Dave is just hanging in the yard or something, then you can meet your friend properly.
Slobbers,
Mango
