I only go with Mom when I can go in where she's going or if we're just driving around together. Where she goes, I go! You all know how hot cars can get, right? (Check out this chart for a reminder.) I'm all for cruisin' around for Summer fun - but, as always, safety first!

Super Post Zimmmy... Today we had to go fur groceries and stuffs... WE have special COOLING Pads that we lay on... they help cool us fur 4 hours... and then can be QUICKLY recharged by putting in a cooler..
ReplyDeletePLUS DAD stays out with us... and mom shops... dad parks us in the SHADE and he opens the windows... and IF we say we are hot he runs Jennifer Jeep's Snow Locker thingy..

ReplyDeletemol! Zim, if you were any closer to that vent, you'd be on the hood of the car :D Great post and reminder (and picture of you, mol - your expression made us smile). If our mom is out with Wriggley and needs to go into a store, she leaves him tethered in the bed of the truck. But she won't leave him or even take him with her if it is too hot.

Yes, Yes, Yes, Safety first. It is so so important. MOM has many times either call authorities or has removed a dog from a car in a hot hot parking lot. It is something she just will not stand for. There has been a few confrontations. But MOM says well worth it if a dog is saved.

Looks like you are having a good time cruising around in the heat Zim. Our mom made us a seat cover to keep us cool since the seats are black leather. She also said something about it being washable and helping to keep the seat clean.

Wish all woofie Moms were smart and thoughtful like yours Zim. We see woofies in cars, alone with windows cracked (like that helps...NOT!!!) all Summer and it gets to 100F like it will this weekend. Mom and Dad try to find the owners and/or call animal control!
