Walks are such a peaceful, wonderful way to start the day! I mean ... you know. After someone settles in a bit. She can't help it - she's a puppy!
Moving right along ...

Yesterday, Maggie had her big first annual check up at the vet school! (Veterinary Health Center at Kansas State University.) She was so tired when she got home that I just made sure she got a glowing report, but didn't press her for details. I thought our morning walk would be the perfect time to get the full scoop. Remember - the family that walks together talks together!

The vet gave her a great report and Maggie just loved seeing everyone. I just hope it wasn't too traumatic for my little Maggie. She puts on a brave face, but I know it had to be hard.

| "Yep. Met a bunch of nice people, had to hold still, a needle poke here and there ... that's about it, Cam." "I'm so proud of you, Mags." |
She did great. And for some reason, she doesn't mind at all that she has to go back in a few weeks! What a brave, brave puppy!

What a wonderful vet clinic-Hunter doesn't get cheese when he goes; of course he doesn't like to go either.

Cheese on a STICK?! WOW! That's a pretty pawesome vet. Mine gives me animal crackers. JUST for me. She doesn't give them to anyone else. Or at least that's what she says, and I know she wouldn't lie to me.

You girrrrls get up so early... tomorrow morning there is going to be a FULL Lunar Eclipse... and it will be Blood Red... or so they say... Hope you get to see THAT and take some pics fur THOSE of US who like to sleep LATE and will miss it... Just sayin..
