They were HUGE! And they were staring RIGHT at us! Look at the size of the claws on those things!
I buffed an alert - and Maggie stopped right in her tracks!
It was WILD! Not only were they staring at us, but they MOVED! Their heads went back and forth, following every move Mags and I made!

The giant cats must have really scared our mom, because she started laughing hysterically. I've heard some bipeds respond to highly dangerous situations that way. There were people in the garage who came out to see what was going on, and for some reason they started laughing, too. Maggie and I figured they must have been reacting to the sight of those giant cats, too, so we continued to tell the cats to stay away! (Mom asked the people if she could take pictures, in between laughing fits. Sometimes I worry about her.)
Anyway, we were pretty certain we had made sure the giant cats knew not to mess with us and our Mom, so we continued on our way. When we reached Ao4 Headquarters, we checked the area to see if they were waiting there to ambush us or something.
Whew! We'll stay on alert, just in case, but for now ... we're OK. Heads up to all of you, though: There are giant cats on the prowl! Beware!

BO: you showed those giant cats not to mess with your mum. Yes we think laughing means humans are scared as they do that a lot when things are not funny. Have a fabulous Friday.

ReplyDeleteOH CAMMIE! That giant cat was in my neighborhood last year and I had to defend Mrs. Master. I totally understand. It was TERRIFYING. I am so so so sorry it made it's way to Manhattan.

ReplyDeleteHuh! Small world! The cracker and the criminal got to see that kitteh's twin and i can tell you they empathize with Cammie and Maggies firm views on the dangers of a feline of that size. They sure were cross with me for making them pose nest to the beast. They negotiated much higher modeling fees for that gig, being they took their own lives in their paws just so i could get a photo of that beast!
