Serene Selections Sunday

Greetings to all, it's me, Maggie!  This Sunday, Cam and I thought we'd share some photos of us in various stages of serenity and in serene settings.  I mean ones that made Mom feel serene, too.  Just for the record.  Let's take a look!

Running and playing Fetch with my mom makes me feel serene!

"Got it, Mom!  Here I come!!!"

That time, we played traditional Fetch instead of Siberian Rules Fetch, so Mom was really happy.

Cammie and I love going to Tuttle Creek State Park!  Here we are, enjoying the sights, sounds, and sniffs alongside Willow Lake:

You can tell from Cam's face on the way home how much fun we had:

"Hello, everyone!"

In addition to walking and playing together, Cam and I also like to just hang out together like this:

Cam and me.  Despite what Mom thinks, we were NOT playing Beauty Shop.
Really.

Chewing on my toys makes me feel serene, too. Sometimes, it even does this to me:

And for those of you who aren't familiar with my artistic side, I give you a still-life entitled "Paws and GoughNuts":

Being creative is good for the soul.

Sometimes I like to play with Mom. We play this game where she does this hand-creeper thing. In this shot, I've had just pinned The Hand!

I've trapped The Hand!

What made that serene? Because I eventually did this:

"Zzzz..."

Mom didn't seem to mind.

As some of you pointed out on Wednesday, I do love confined spaces -- or as I like to say "denning"! Whether it's a box or my crate or the kitchen chairs, what serenity!

It's not as easy to get under there as into a box or my crate, but it's still great! Everyone needs a little alone time once in a while! But what beats alone time?

Thaaaaaaaat's right.

Have a serene Sunday!

Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

  6. nice collection of serenity today, Maggie! you look like you are flying back to your mom with your toy :) You know, we were just thinking...Siberian Rules Fetch is a lot like Kitty Rules Fetch, hee hee! Oh, we love the creeping hand game! our mom won't play that with us anymore...something about not wanting her hand shredded...we're not sure what she is going on about. Say, do you think we could come over and play with your mom?
    Have a great week ahead!

  10. Awww. You and Cammie are so adorable together! Thank you very much for your kind words about Cinderella. It makes me smile to think of her dancing with Dave and Zim at the Rainbow Bridge.
