Day 792

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie.  Here we are at what?  Day 792 of ice and single digit temps?  Something close to that.  We weren't able to walk yesterday, as everything was iced back up.  Mom has been trying to get creative to encourage Cam and me to get "indoor exercise".  I thought she meant like more rounds of CROG (Crazed River Otter Games), perhaps some Siberian Rules Fetch, practice my aircraft carrier landings ... stuff like that. But yesterday, she came up with a super-crazy idea.  Check it out:

Seriously.  I don't know how me getting on the treadmill is going to accomplish anything.  I think the cold and ice are getting to Mom.

    Just wait until your mom turns that thing on. We've been stuck inside due to our super cold temps and have to make our own entertainment too.

    Have y'all seen the tv commercial with a dachshund running on a treadmill? At least a dachshund doesn't have far to fall.

    Mom wishes she had one of those contraptions here. Dad had our old one hauled away. She says she would do anything she could to get two of us tired out on that track:)

    It warmed up here today and we have MUD, but we here there is a FLASH FREEZE happening tonight - would that be the superhero Flash???

    I used to train dogs to walk and run on treadmills as part of my job!!! Most dogs need a lot of convincing! Your mom is losing it due to the bad weather. Don't worry, girls, the bad weather will end someday.

    Our mom has one of those things too, and was going to try to get me on it in the summer when I don't want to walk. Humans are so silly, right?
