Ice Station Zebra

Hello, everyone.  It's me, Cammie!  Like many of you, we got hit with more ice.  We can go on our walks when it's cold out (within reason), but not when there is ice involved.  Night before last, we were hit with ice.  Actually, it was a thunder-sleet event, which was pretty interesting.  Anyway, since we can't go on our walks, Mom has been trying to keep Maggie and me gainfully employed in the house.  Yesterday, we had "under supervision only" toy time!

I had my Eggplant and Maggie had her Zogo-bone:

"I love this Eggplant!  How can people not like veggies?!?"
"I like this bone!"

"It's not really called a 'Zogo bone', but that's what we call it."
"I call it a fun toy, that's what I call it!  Especially when Mom puts a treat in it!"

"Anything else in my Eggplant?!?"
"Give it a good, hard chew, Cam-a-roo!"

"How do you stay busy when you have to play indoor games?"

Is it an icy mess where you live?  We're supposed to warm up to 30 over the weekend, then more snow Monday.  Or so they say.  Stay safe, everyone!

Cammie!

  1. We practice my trick repertoire. Lots of treats, lots of use of the ol' noggin! Usually afterwards I want to snuggle up with Momma for a while on the couch.

  2. Morning ladies...no ice here. I heard Kansas had turned into an ice castle. Wonder how the Kansas Ocean is doing?
It was 80 here in Dixie yesterday. It has been too warm all week but old man winter returns tomorrow only 48 for a high

  3. Toys with treats inside are the bestest! No ice here. We are at 40 degrees F and we are waiting for it to stop raining so we can go for our walk.

  7. I get extra sleepy time when it's icy out. We got lucky this week, 98% of it went north of our neighborhood.

  8. We had a bit of ice but it melted quickly. Now we are having very high winds and the temp is dropping. We get stuffed Kongs when we can't play outside.

  9. Yep, that ice is here too. Poor Lightning isn't liking it at all. But we are glad we have our big yard to run and play in. No walks for the Momster - too icy for her old bones. Inside we manage to drag out ALL our toys and scatter them all over the kitchen and family room. We figure we are helping Mom by keeping her busy with the pickup:)
