Serene Scenery Sunday

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie!  For Serene Scenery Sunday this week, Ragnar and I would like to invite you to come on our morning walk with us!  It was chilly, but nice and sunny - and we had a blast!  Let's get going!

We took the long way to Anneberg Park!  Once we got to the Perimeter Trail ...

"Keep your eyes peeled for those turkeys, Ragnar!"
"Yeah.  Keep your nose to the ground - they only fly when they get cornered!"

"Right.  I got so excited, I forgot."
"Hi, Mom!"

We made our way around the Perimeter Trail.  Sadly, no sign of the turkeys, but it was a beautiful morning!

"And there are always the squirrels!"
"I think I've counted 7, 058 so far!"

It was great!  Squirrels everywhere!  Which also means acorns everywhere!  Great times!

Ragnar pulled to go over the bridge over Wildcat Creek.  We weren't going to go that way, but Dad couldn't say "no" to him.

"Way to go, Raggi!"
"I LOVE going this way!"

I think we all do!  Here we are on that "spur" path:

"So many awesome smells!!"
"This is why I love coming over here!"

It was great fun!  We got to add even more milage to avoid a woman walking an out-of-control pup.  Or the woman was out-of-control.  One of the two.  Frankly, I think it was the biped, not the pup.   Whatever.  Longer walk for us!

We got back on the main road ...

"We should walk on the other side of the road today."
"Send Dad a mind-meld message -- it worked for me back at the bridge!"

So I did -- and we did!  (Dad never says "no" to me; it's one of my super-powers.). It was like a whole different walk being across the street - all new smells and everything!

Thanks for coming with us - I hope you had as much fun as we did!  AND I hope you feel nice and serene now!

Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

  1. Greetings Miss Maggie and Sir Ragnar! I always love joining you for your walks; it looks like you are having wonderful weather like we are. We had snow last week, but hope it stays away for a while-or just falls in the mountains. Hunter sends his kisses too.

  2. That looks like a fun walk you went on. Too bad you didn't find any turkeys though.

  5. What a beautiful walk. We got to sit in snow to greet the goblins this weekend but no cool trail walks.
