It's a bunch of Lilies of the Valley! Lily of the Valleys? Whatever. This was before Cam and Zim did all the barking, as you may be able to tell! Here are some close-ups!
Lily of the Valley |
Rumor has it that our Mom carried Lily of the Valley in her wedding bouquet.
Pink Lily of the Valley |
We really love our Pink Lily of the Valley plants; the mom of our buddies Mitch and Maggie sent them to us! We love having special reminders of our friends living in our gardens!
The Korean Dwarf Lilacs are in full bloom:
They're right by our garage door, so we get to enjoy them every time we go outside! I wish you could smell them!
Oh! This isn't in our garden, but Zim thought you might like to see it! There is a wildflower called Rose Verbena blooming all over the place. Here's a shot Mom took on an adventure with Zim:
They add a great splash of color on the prairie!
Speaking of splashes of color ... the first of our Peonies has opened!
A bunch more are ready to pop; Spring is so exciting!
A year or two ago, Mom and Dad transplanted one of our Snowball Viburnum bushes. This is the first year it has bloomed:
Needless to say, that thrills Mom. And the rest of us. Of course, it might be more thrilling if they were actual snowballs, but maybe that's just me.
Let me see ... what else have I seen out front that was beautiful? Oh, yeah. I remember ...
"Hi Davy!!! Kiss-kiss!!!" "Aw, c'mon, kid..." |
Yep. My kid sister. She's one mighty sweet, beautiful little girl.
OK, moving right along ... did you see the Super Moon last night? The moon rises out front, so that fits in well with my theme here today! Here's the best of the shots our mom took:
Could you hear us howling?
I hope you enjoyed our tour of the "out front" area. Have a great Saturday, everyone!
Luv,
Dave
Fabulous darlings. The Lily of the valley were superb and the full moon so reminded us of sweet Remington. Have a super Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
That moon shot is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteHi Davey, Love all your flowers-especially the Lily of the Valley(the pink is gorgeous). I love Hyrdrangeas and the white snowball is so pretty. I saw the moon on Thursday eve and wondered if my daughter might go into labor-she is having a little one soon.
ReplyDeleteHope you and the pack have a wonderful weekend; Hunter sends wags to you.

We have a lot of the same plants in our yard. Our Korean Lilac are blooming too and boy do they smell nice.

All so beautiful. But I got to say, and you know what I am going to say, but one can not say it enough, that Cam-a-Roo is the mostest beautiful of all. You are a lucky brother Dave. Getting kisses from the Cam and all those wonderful flowers all around you. You know I imagine that a corner of heaven looks just like your yard.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
I did hear you howling. Did you hear me?? I thought I heard Remington from across the bridge also. I love your flowers. Mommy is crazy for lily of the valley, she had them growing up and would pick them for her Mom. She didn't know they were pink ones, thanks for showing those.
ReplyDeleteLoveys Sasha
Your flower close-ups are just fabulous! Mom says she can almost smell the lily of the valley! Our pink ones are out of control and spreading everywhere but that's a good thing, right!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥

We have those Lily of the Valley flowers too. In fact they are one of the few flowers that momma can actually name. Your flower beds are very peaceful and happy.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
You sure have some beeYOUtiful flowers out front, Dave! But the Camo Rose is definitely the prettiest of ALL of them.
