Fun in the Studio

Hi everypuppy and everycat! It's me, Ammy! First of all, many thanks for keeping my secret the other day. Mom did find me, but said I was being so cute she just didn't have the heart to torture me with the comb. Those weren't her exact words, but the bottom line is I didn't have to get combed. Whew! :)

As you may know, we all work very hard here at Ao4 Headquarters. We all have jobs and are devoted to carrying out our duties. But we also like to unwind with some fun. I thought I'd share these photos with you from a while back, so you could see another side of us. (Marvin, if you're out there, I'll be sharing my left side. Hee hee hee!)

Zim, Dave and I were on duty downstairs, much like our assignments the other day, only Zim was in the workout room, helping Dad. I was in the outer part of the Studio and Dave had been in the inner part of the Studio. He came out for a break, and we decided to have a little fun. Mom had her iPhone handy and took these pictures.

Hey, Zimmie! Come on out! It's break time!

He thought maybe we were going to jump him or something. Can you believe that? Us?!?

Hee hee hee!

Zim: Hey, you guys! What's going on?
Me (Ammy): Hi, Zimmie! We just thought it was break time and that you should come on out here with us and take a break and then we could take a break together and then maybe Stormy would come downstairs and take a break or maybe we could all go upstairs and take a break together or...

... and then Mom, who was apparently still working (even though it seemed to me like she was playing with her iPhone...) and not taking a break wanted to know what all the chit-chat was about.

Dave: Woo, Mom. She's being a Chatty Cathy again!

I was not! Well, maybe I was. But sometimes a girl has a lot to say!

I decided to go play with one of my toys for break time. Dave went over and hugged Mom. And Zim? I think he found some quieter pups by the door to the other part of the Studio.

Hey... do you guys want to hang out for a while?

He makes friends everywhere he goes!

I hope you remember to take breaks from your work!

Love,
Ammy

Ohhhh Ammy! First off, in that one photo, I LOVE your ears flat out to the side. I could tell you were really talking business to the Zimmie Man. And Sitka said that Zimmie looks soooo handsome in that last photo smelling the stuffies. We know he would never take one out of the basket!

  3. I like to take breaks quite often Amy. Don't worry if you are called a Chatty Cathy. If they call you a chatty Cathy, call me, and I'll chat with you.

  11. We don't have as much fun on our breaks as you do. We thought some zoomies were going to happen when Zimmie came out. What was Stormy doing upstairs by herself?

  14. I definitely think it is important to take a break from one's Very Important Duties. Fr'instance, I have wake up every once in a while, because if I napped HARD all day, I'd be tired. Um. Wait. I'm not sure that made any sense. But you know what I mean, right? :-)

  16. I can't believe that you two would ever jump anyone. ;) Looks like a nice conversation and break you had though. As for the sledding, I have a feeling you would be pretty good at it too. :)

Well, we at Wild Dingo have a saying here for the corporate office when we want to go to a meeting: OFF SITE! Off-site meetings are the best! We establish plenty of them and plenty of meetings where there is food and "thinking" for the food. but mostly our meetings are always off-site. Usually our breaks are worked in and around our off-site meetings.

try to convince your mom that off-site is the best way to have a break or a meeting! but something tells me you get plenty of off-site meetings. i donno... something just tells me... ;)

  20. oh dearest Ammy, your left side is most excellent. Thank you for sharing it with me. I am, as always, on your side.

Of course you are the most eloquent gal, I love a chatty female, especially a red head!

Your Mama's photos were so lovely of you all too.

We have been thinking about you, because there is a big Husky Rally on here, well a few miles up from us in Aviemore.

My Jeannie has copied and pasted the link for you all to see. It has been on our tv a great deal this weekend. Not sure if you know, but my Jeannie's ambition is to go on a Husky Sled Ride very soon.

lots of love, and thank you for the shout out!

Marvin xxxx I have put the link below for your Mama to copy and paste.

We just loved your pictures today - or was that yesterday!
They are great - we love you meeting up for a chat between your household duties.
We were also going to tell you about Aviemore - Marvin has sent the link.
We believe this is the first time in 25 years they have actually has snow for the event.
You guys will appreciate the importance of that and how excited all those huskies were!

  24. Hello you all!

Happy New Year - even though the weather seems quite dismal at your end. You're all looking very well - we're sorry we've not been very good at keeping up with visiting blogs.

The weather at our end of the world has also gone awry. No snow but loads of rain - so much so some parts have flooded. Good thing we live on a hill ...
