More Snow?

Hi everypuppy and everycat. It's me - Ammy, resident meteorologist here at Ao4 Headquarters. The bipeds on TV have said we're going to get 2-4 more inches of snow tonight. Mom was waiting for me to weigh in on the forecast.

Hmmm....

I've got my snow scanner going, and I can smell it out there!

Yep. There's snow heading our way!

I keep wanting to go out and re-check my work, but for some reason Mom doesn't like going out quite so much when it's 4.5℉ (-15℃). Can you believe that? How's a meteorologist supposed to make a snow-cast if she can't go out and stick her snooter up in the air every 15 minutes?

Love,
Ammy

  1. Hey Ammy!

You want to be careful NOT to let Jack Frost nip your snooter out there. It was -25 F this morning here, and right now -9 F. so its (heh, heh) warming up a bit! Maybe just enough to get a good snowstorm going for you guys!

    Kisses,
    Stella

  6. oh my Ammy, please keep your snooter warm, I would hate to think of it frozen off!

You look most adorable snootering out the weather I have to say, the snow really is "you".

We had minus 10 degrees last night, and lots of snow this morning, but not as much as yours thank goodness.

I am kinda tired of it now, I want my green grass back.

My Jeannie nearly fell off the wall in our garden today, (we have a two level garden, grass at the top, patio area below, 10 steps down....) well think you guessed the rest. She was so busy faffing about with the bird feeders on the top level, the snow all blended into one big white blurry mess and she nearly took a BIG step down to the lower level.

Phew, she is quite a worry to me I can bark to you.

Enjoy your snow, this is Your Time!

  9. Hi Ammy!! You always make us laugh! I can imagine that your mom doesn't want to run out every few minutes with her snooter to check out the weather!! You better be careful or your snooter just might get too cold!! Cold here only 20 degrees but winds of 40 to 50 mph...brrrrrrrrr!! Stay warm and keep your mom and dad inside if you can!!! Love, Holly and mom Debbie

  14. I've been snootering for a forecast here too... maybe a little more snow on the way. Lucky fur me, all mom has to do is open the door & I can go out to snooter the air. She gets to stay inside & cozy. Humans are wimps. Maybe woo can convince your mom to let woo out on the deck by yourself?

  17. We didn't know there was a 4.5 degree temperature! At least it's warmer than 4 degrees! We can't believe your mom is hampering your weather predicting by not taking you out as much as you need to!

  18. Now I can't figure out why your mom wouldn't want to go out in that COLD weather! :) Tell her it's nice and warm here today!

  19. Aww Ammy maybe your Mom trusts you so much that she knows you're right about the snow and feels comfortable not checking so often. Take it as a compliment. :)

  22. I'm pretty sure that in the midwest, the weather can change at a moments notice, so you definitely need to go outside a lot to make sure your forecast is still valid.
