Serene Scenery Sunday

Tail wags, dear readers! It's me, Stormy, here with Serene Scenery Sunday. Before I get started, please allow me to respond to some of the sweet comments left on yesterday's post. Many of you wanted to know if my eyes are really that blue. Yes and no. In the light we had that day, and with everything in the photo except for my right eye converted to black and white... yes, my right eye is really that blue. It was an overcast day, which really made all the colors look super-saturated! The "no" comes in with the pluralization of the word eyes. My left eye is quite a deep brown, with a flash of blue in it. In one of our very early posts (back in 2006!) we posted a collage of our eyes. Check it out at this link! You can see all of our eyes there!

Enough of the chit-chat - let's get on to some serene shots! Here is a close-up of the berries on our Burning Bush:

And here's a nice blue sky above one of our Austrian Pines:

DSCN3375

We've had a lot of fog lately, so that blue sky is a welcome sight!

Here are some scenes from Zimmie's trip to the Kansas Ocean:

And a shot of the opposite shore:

Have a serene Sunday!

Tail wags,
Storms

  19. Lovely pics dear Storm. Thank you for your information on Eyes too.

I have two eyes. As well, like you.

    Confused Marvin yet again ;0D

I remember that post about your eyes, well all of your eyes, not saying you have more than two eyes obviously, that would be over egging the pudding, having more than two eyes.

I think I will finish this comment now, I have got kinda tangled up with all the eyes.

However, I do like to dot the eyes, and cross the teas. Or is it - dot the "i"s and cross the "t"s?

You still have snow I see, with my two amber eyes, we woke up on Saturday to torrential rain, and it took all our snow and ice away, in one fell swoop.

We are going to take some photos later on today, I will put some on my blog. Jeannie didn't recognise the fields, they were green!

    She has green eyes.

    Enough about eyes.

Those are some amazing pics you all posted recently; that close-up of Stormy's eye belongs in a Sibe calendar.
