Looks pretty much the same as when Zim showed you around last week - with one exception.
Dwarf Blue Oat Grass. We think. Maybe something else.
Most of these (we have maybe 15 or so scattered around the yard) are goners - but a couple down here are actually thriving! We confess, Mom usually knows exactly what everything in the garden is called, but she gave up on these last year and was going to dig them all up and replace them this year ... so she hit the ol' "delete key" in her head as per the name. It's a cute little ornamental blue grass - it gets only about 6 inches high. Mom's procrastination saved these guys.
Also down here, I have a good view of the neighbors' bird house. Check out all the activity!
Birdies!
I know my kit-cat friends will like seeing that! Couldn't you watch those birdies forever? What a sweet sight!
Let's head back in, shall we? And as we head on up, let me show you that other something special that makes us feel serene.
Jasper and our non-fur cousin Pamela!
No, that's not our buddy Gus down in Texas! Ha roo! That's Jasper! He lives in Florida with our non-fur cousin Pamela! They adopted each other not too long ago through this wonderful organization. You can tell by the look they're exchanging just how much they love each other, can't you?!? Ah, what a great feeling! We wish them many, many happy years together!!!
"I love a good homecoming story!"
Tell me adoption stories don't make you feel totally wonderful! Happy Serene Scenery Sunday!
Tail wags,
Storms

w, congrats to Jasper & Pamela, what a heart-warming story! That just gives us the warm-&-fuzzies all over! Wo, pretty grass. We thought maybe they died out cause they were tasty, too. "Oat grass" sounds like it would be tasty.

We would love to have that bird house with all the lil birdies in our front yard! We loved seeing Jasper. Momma transported one (only 18 months old) yesterday that looked similar. Glad he had a happy end to his story!

Those birdies look like they belong to some sort of secret society... plotting and scheming in the pretendness of attending a little brunch!
