I brought out our bright blue Wubba and my Squeaky Husky Friend.
"You stay right there, Squeaky Husky Friend. I'll show you what playing Wubba is all about!"
He's better at that whole "stay" thing than I am! Anyway, I showed him how Mom and I play Wubba Tuggy-Tug:
Tuggy-Tug!
Then I showed him what I'm REALLY good at ~ Wubba Fetch! Here's a cool collage Mom made:
I'm a Wubba Star!
Isn't that cool? For a bigger version, please click here.
So we played and played... but then... see up there in the collage? That picture in the lower right corner? I was rounding the bend, coming in for the hand-off, when... uh... as Stormy would say, I started to feel a little funny.
Not only that, but my brakes weren't exactly working!
Dave, you are an awesome Wubba Star. I would like to Wubba with you, we would show your Husky friend a thing or two.
ReplyDeleteMy brakes don't work to well either when Wubbas are involved.
I even got Flash playing with my Wubba last night, don't tell your Mom but we were inside.....and got pretty close to putting our Wubba thru the TV. That was fun.
Remy
Oops! Sometimes my brakes don't work too! I like to jump up and bounce off of dad and run off in the other direction! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had tons of fun! :)
Your mom is getting so good at those pictures! :)
Mochi
Dave, sometimes I make my brakes fail...ON PURPOSE....SHHHH! Don't tell the two-leggers!
ReplyDeleteAnyhoo, I really like your wubba and you are so the most pawsomest WUBBA STAR! You surely made your squishy husky friend very proud with all your tugging and fetching skillz!
Wags and woofs,
Mack and Mia
PeeS. Dave, Ask your momma if she has any good summer recipes? our momma is envious of your mommas cooking SKILLZ!
Good job with the Wubba! Darwin doesn't have one of those! This will be a great tutorial for her on how to play with one!
ReplyDeleteHope your mom is ok after your break failure! Darwin does that too sometimes!
Yeah, we sometimes have brake problems - luckily, when we can't brake in time, we can usually maneuver around Mom (usually) so we don't take out her knees! :-)

Wow Dave! You are definitely a wubba star extrordinaire! We love the star collage your mom made.(Uh, guess she is ok after her sudden sitting down episode....)
ReplyDeleteOur mom wants to know what version of photoshop she is using. Think you can get her to tell our mom Dave?
Kisses on your cute, cute speckled pickle nose!
Hugs
Sunny
ha ha! It is always good to keep your Mama guessing, and possibly, floored whilst she is busy taking photos of your Wubba Fest!
ReplyDeleteI do hope though, your Mama has recovered her dignity.
It is a shame you didn't have a camera on you, so we could have seen the Wubba Knock Down!! :)D
lotsaluv Marv xxxxxxx
Oh my goodness, Dave!! I hope your human was alright...I once ran straight into a friend of Hsin-Yi's and I put her in hospital with a neck brace!!!! (well, Hsin-Yi did tell her to get out of my way as I was zoomying after her dog during play but for some reason she thought if she just planted her feet, she could withstand the force of my 150lb body...er, no. Not when she only weighs 110lbs! Hee! Hee!)
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
Dave, you always put on a great show and I anxiously await your updates. <3
ReplyDeleteOh Dave!!! You do have fun with the Wubba don't you!! Great pictures!! We are sorry your brakes failed and hope mom is okay!! We know all about how that happens!! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely a star, Davy. My mum is laughing and laughing because her dog Max used to forget her brakes when she was playing with her tennis ball too.
ReplyDeleteHuffs
Hahaha! Dave, you're funny! Hope your mom is alright after your brake failure! The blue Wubba makes your handsome blue eyes stand out even more.
ReplyDeleteWooos Dave! I think it must be a cool out thingy, about the brakes not working, after my swim the other night it was nice and cool and I was running....and wham! right through the shrubs, I fell down! poor me. I hope woo did not hurt wooself too!
ReplyDelete~husky kisses~

Wubbas are the bestest! Knuckles and I have one each, but he's pretty much destroyed his.
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you can be so strong and yet so gentle!
Sonic
Your poor Mom, Dave!
ReplyDeleteI hope she was ok after that "brake failure"!
Sure you are a Wubba Star!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
I think Mom may need to get me a Wubba this weekend...
ReplyDeleteSuch a star, your Mom is getting great at photoshop!
Oh no, Dave! Is your mom ok? Are you ok? You are a true wubba star! I love that 2nd photo of you. It shows off your handsomeness ;o)
ReplyDeleteKisses to your mom and dad!
Snuggles,
Twix
Dave, if you acted like a true husky and not a lab-in-a-sibe-suit, you would be looping around Mom at the last second at full speed, not trying to stop to deliver the Wubba to her! More fun, safer for Mom too....Next time, think "I'm a Sibe, not a Lab, I must keep running and drop the Wubba far away for Mom to retrieve, I am a Sibe..." Work on it!
ReplyDeleteWe're glad your mom took all those fun photos of you playing before all that rainy rain arrived. We like all those star pictures. We will send you some sun
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Did your brakes break? That is really fun when we are running together and trying to see who can stop the closest to the hu-dad for attention, but sometimes we all get a little too close. Oops.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Great one with the brakes!
ReplyDeleteThat wubba thing sure looks like fun fun fun!
Cheers,
Maxx
Go figure...wonder why she took you in after that...Looks like tha party was just gettin' started!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun...so little time!!
Smileys and Snuggles,
