So the other afternoon, it was one of those "almost 60 degree" days (15.5C). Dad was out golfing. Golfing! At the end of ... well, anyway. Dave and I had our lunch, then Mom said she'd take us to the corner before heading to the Studio. Maybe around the block. We'd see.
Here we are way down on the main drag through our area:

In case anyone is wondering, that's not exactly around the block. See what I mean about the up-side? It was so nice out, that we just kept going!
Dave and I led Mom up that hill, and I suggested we cross the road.

Some of you may remember the Giant's Castle! It's a pretty cool place to go exploring; Dave and I love it!
After a while, we headed back down the hill. Here we are, checking out Little Kitten Creek:

Given our drought-like conditions and lack of feline friends, there wasn't much to see, so we headed home.

Ha roo. Switzerland! Where does Dave come up with this stuff!?!

That's weird Kansas weather for it to be so balmy when it should be so nice and chilly out. Our creeks are filled to the brim since we had so much rain but that means lots of mud puddles!

Yeah, what does it be with Mum's not wanting to walk in bad weather. Still, I would like to see some cool snow forts so I hopes you get snow soon!

The weather here has been crazy as well. Today was close to 60. People were outside washing their cars in January!
