That MUST Be Where I Am!

Ha roo, pups and cool cats!  Mom and I went on the coolest adventure yesterday!  Well, actually, it was a pretty toasty adventure, but I meant "cool" like "really great", not like "under 100 degrees".  Anyway - check out where we went!

"Wowzers!"

There was a huge forest and a big lake and everything!  I couldn't figure out where we were!

I went down to the water's edge to see if there were any fishies swimming around.  Since they're always in schools, I figured they'd be smart and know where we were.  Right?

"Hey, fishies!  What lake is this?!?"

I couldn't believe what they told me!

"REALLY!??!"

They told me where I was - and that if I just looked around, it would be clear to me, too!

"Not to repeat myself, but WOWZERS!"

I couldn't believe my eyes!!!  Check it out:

"It's ... it's Old Faithful!"

How cool is that??!  It's Old Faithful!!!  The famous geyser - right here!  That could only mean that Mom and I were in Jellystone National Park!  That must be the Ranger Station over there behind Old Faithful (the thing that looks like a house) and that if I looked around I might see someone I'd love to meet!

"Hey!  Are you guys out here?  Maybe having a pick-a-nic or something?!?"

You know who I was looking for - right?  These guys:

Yogi and Boo Boo Bear

Sadly, I didn't see them.  They must be out foraging in the forest before Winter sets in.  I was a little disappointed, but it was a thrill to see Old Faithful!

"Ha roo from Jellystone!"

Yogi and Boo Boo or no Yogi and Boo Boo, I thoroughly enjoyed my adventure at Jellystone National Park!  And who knew it was so close to our house?!?

Thanks for coming along!

Play bows,
Zim

  2. Well I'll be. I never knew you were so close. How great its that. The only down side to this whole post is that now MOM is talking in her Yogi bear voice. "Hey Boo Boo, hey Boo Boo Bear." Now this will go on for hours. I think I'll go fishing.

  10. Kansas has way more tourist attractions than we ever knew! We hope you find Yogi and Boo Boo next time you visit Zim!

PeeS: We hope you let your mom nap during the day if you get her up at 0300! Or maybe she doesn't get cranky from lack of sleep like our mommy does. :)

  14. That is a pretty neat-o place, Zim. Too bad you couldn't take a quick swim what with it being hot and all.

Now my momma keeps going "hey boo boo!" in a weird voice. What's up with that?
