Check Up Time

Woo, everypup and everycat.  It's me, Dave.  Sorry I'm late posting today; I spent the morning at the Vet School, having my 6-month check-up.  Want to see a few shots of how it went?

Here I am, trying to relax in-between different tests during the eye exam part:

"Zzzz...."

As you can tell, it was mighty stressful.

Here's what I did while we waited for my eyes to dilate:

"Mmm... yeah.  Right there, Mom..."

As I've mentioned before, Mom sits on the floor with me and makes me feel all nice and mellow.  Know who else does that when I'm there?  BETH!  Beth is one of our very favorite Vet Techs.  Here she is, restraining me for a blood draw:

"Is that Mom's iPhone?  Can I send Zim a text message?"
For the record, I Beth.  We all do.
(Even though someone did this to her on his last appointment.)

As you can see, it takes a LOT to hold me down.  Ha woo.

I knew Zim and Dad would be worried about me, so Mom took a picture and sent it to them so they could see I wasn't suffering too badly.  I'll bet Zim was having all kinds of fun, having "guy time" with Dad.  I'll bet they played football and did zoomies and talked guy talk and stuff.

Anyway, that's about it for today.  It sure was a full morning.  It was great seeing everyone at the KSU Vet Med Health Center, but it's also good to be home.  I can't wait to find out what Zim did all morning.

Luv,
Dave

PS:  Note from the boys' mom:  While Dave and I were at the Vet School, I received this photo, via text message from the boys' dad:

...Meanwhile, back at Ao4 Headquarters...

"Zzzz... no fun doing stuff without Dave here... Zzzz...
... Better rest up until he gets home .... Zzzz...."

  4. Cheoah says you are supposed to scream at the vet. Well, not when they are touching you because that isn't so bad. Just, you know, in the waiting room or any other time you want to get some excitement going.

  5. I hope you caused all kinds of chaos when you got home with Zim.

I don't have a partner these days so I've gotta think of my own fun. Blech.

  11. Um, hey, buddy? *I* know and *you* know that Beth's just a friend, but... well, let's just say that Cinderella saw that picture of her hanging all over you and BOY did she go off in a snit!

Looks like a good time for all! I bet you and Zim got into all sorts of trouble when you got back, with all the resting up he did!

  12. Rugby is foster to adopting in Lawrence (who wouldn't keep him forever...i mean, he's totally going to have to live there in the most sinful place on earth). I told him to catch all those dirty birds and eat them. He said he would.

That's really sad that person is getting rid of their Sibe. I mean, we are the most perfect creatures!

We're taking a short break from fostering while Master figures out his allergies. It's a real bummer to be at my house right now.

  13. Haha, that is so cute of Zim snoozing with Dave gone . You two must be the best of brothers. Has it been 6 months? I remember just reading about your vet visit not too long ago. Maybe that was Zim's visit. Anyhow, have a great week!!!!
