When we got there, I had a good look around.
"Oh, look! Guys fishing!" |
I didn't want to disturb the guys fishing, so I didn't go over there. Besides, I was trying to see if any of my goose friends were around!
"Ha roo?!? Is anygoose home?!?" |
I saw some way across the Anneberg Ocean and asked them to meet me on this side, away from the fishing guys.
"Come on over, gooses!" |
They were quite obliging!
"Yes! Yes, meet me over there!" |
I wanted to commune with them, Mom wanted to take pictures.
"Ha roo, my goose friends!" |
"Does anygoose feel like having his photo taken? My mom wants to do some close-ups!" |
This guy was very accommodating!
"Honk!" |
Maybe too accommodating! Ha roo!
Mom took a bunch of pix; I'll share those tomorrow for Serene Scenery Sunday.
I did some posing, too. Can't have the gooses show me up! I chose this chunk of limestone as my platform:
" 'All the world's a stage, And all the Sibes and gooses merely players...' Or something like that." |
OK, so maybe I need to brush up on my Shakespeare again, but you get the idea. One more shot for you:
Me. Zim. |
We had a great time at the park; I hope you did, too! Thanks for coming with us!
Play bows,
Zim
Oh I had a great time with you. WOW Zim you are like a goose whisper. They come when you call. Very impressive. I would have like to go fishing with the fisher people. I myself just go back from a good romp with my MOM and about a dozen other doggies. We went to the Fort and I saw a lot of geese and ducks. And at one point for a long while I had three girls all to my self. Goose the old guy with 3 goldens all under 1 year old. They could not get enough of me. Yea I guess I just roll like that. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Hey there Zimmie!
ReplyDeleteYou sure get along with everyone. Look at how you were able communicate with the goose and your Mom was even able to snap a photo of them. You sure look good on that limestone.

What a beautiful park, Zim! We have canada geese that have landed on our pond and they seem to be sticking around. They must know that free food is available!
