Riding Shotgun

Hello, everyone, it's me, Cammie!  As most of you know, Zim goes for car rides with Mom all the time.  I'm OK with that, because I get to stay home with my Dave and spend time with him!  The other day, however, Mom asked Zim if he'd like to go somewhere and he was so  deep into his nap   focused on his work guarding the house that he didn't come when Mom invited him -- so I decided I'd go!

I know when Zim goes with Mom, they see birdies like one of Mom's favorites, the Killdeer:

Or they look way up high and see a Bluebird:

They've even seen Eastern Kingbirds:

But when Mom and I went out, she got all excited because she saw a Western Kingbird:

Mom went on and on about the "cute pose" the birdie was doing for her. Hmm. Really? Well, check this out:



See? Same pose. And I sat still longer than the Western Kingbird!

Anyway, it was OK going for a ride, and I really do like this whole "riding shotgun" thing, but next time, I think I'll stay home and have some special time with Davy.

"Oh.  Oh, yeah.  Right there, DaveDave!"

We find all kinds of fun stuff to do together!
