Wildflower Photo Shoot!

Ha roo, pups and cool cats!  It's me, Zim.  This post isn't so much about the wildflowers as it is how to get to go on a wildflower shoot.  A short, photo-essay tutorial, if you will.  Ready?

When my mom puts her glasses on, it means one of two things - either she's going to watch a sporting event on TV that uses a small ball OR she's going to get behind the wheel of  my  her car.  Knowing that there weren't any games she was really interested in the other day ...

"Hey, Mom.  Whatcha --- are those your glasses?!?"
"Zzz..."
"Zzz..."

She said she was "just" going to go out for a quick photo shoot while everyone was napping.

"Oh.  Oh, yeah... I guess I'll just stay here, then..."

I sent that message while using my Sad Eyes look.  Then, to throw her off - a Happy Look:

"Nah, I don't mind!  Oh, right.
You don't want me to wake up Dave and Cam?  Yeah, Mom.  No problem..."

"Oh, hey.  We might be too late for that one.  Ha roo roo r--"

Mom did a bunch of shushing, Dave laid his head back down ... and before I knew it, I was off on a lovely car ride and got to stop everywhere and look at wildflowers!

"Ohh!  Queen Anne's Lace, right, Mom?  Say, aren't you allergic to this stuff?"

Yep.  It's as simple as that!  What a blast!  We'll share a bunch of our finds on Sunday!  Oh, and don't worry - Cam and Dave get lots of special time with Mom, too!

Play bows,
Zim

  1. Can't wait for Sunday. You have that ZIN touch on everything Zim, not just furry and feathered creatures. Good job.

  5. You're mom can't pull anything over on you Zim! We can't wait to see all the wildflowers you saw! Our sisfur Sadie used to sniff Mommy's pant leg and could tell which pants were the ones that meant strolls. Who knew fabric smelled different but she sure thought it did!
