Greetings to all! It's me, Maggie. It's been quite the week -- severe storms, the house being really hot and humid, the air conditioner being declared kaput, men coming and going, noise, not being able to open windows because of the storms, opening windows when we could, being put on something called Benadryl for a while (all I know really is I got some cheese!), Mom coming after me with ear rinse and eye drops, Mom using my eye drops on her own eyes ... and yesterday, the men weren't just downstairs, they popped in and out of the main level, so Cam and I had to stay on leashes the whole time! It's been a lot to handle!
But it's finally Friday - and they're done! Well, not totally, but done enough that the house is cool and not sticky any more! The men have to come back and do more things, but now that
my cool air vents are putting out cool air again, Cam and I are happy Siberians.

Oh my stars, that's a lot to deal with! We're glad the cool air is once again flowing freely. We live in Florida, and our mom lives in fear that our AC will go, or that a hurricane will knock out power for a week.

ReplyDeleteMaggie and Cammie OH girls do I hear you on the invasive repairmen. Yikes it is bad enough they have to come in but they bring in strange smells. I can only imagine how hot you ladies were with the heat and humidity.

Yay!!!! I'm so glad that your very tough week is over. That sounds awful but now the vents are pumping out the cool air for you girls. Enjoy your quiet and cool weekend!
