We're still in a "severe drought", but we did have rain a few days ago. We thought it would be a good idea to walk over to the KSO to check things out. Just like a couple weeks ago, we spotted a nice, big puddle:

I stomped through the puddle, Maggie jumped over it, and the ocean waters are still rising.

That's our update for now!
We ended up hitting 100 degrees yesterday and we're expecting similar temps today. Stay cool, everyone! If anyone needs us, now that we've taken Mom and Dad on a walk, we'll be hanging out inside!

Oh gals we had 4.7" of rain last week in a 2 1/2 hour time frame. AND now they say T.S. Alberto will skit by tomorrow possibly dropping more rain and having more flashflooding. Wish we could send some to the K.O.
