Taking Care Of Business

Hello, everyone!  It's me, Cam.  As Maggie mentioned yesterday, our dad was out of town for a few days.  We did our best to take care of everything here at Ao4 Headquarters while he was gone - to include making sure Mom got plenty of exercise!

One morning, we decided to take the Water Tower Trail route.  At the top, we struck a nice pose:

"Make sure you tell him how good we're being!"

We continued on down the trail, checking everything out!

We had just gone a little further, when Mom called out, "Ooh!  Look!"

"What is it, Mom?  Bunny?  Birdie?  Squirrel?"
"Possum?  Puddle?  Maggie's BFF Chelsea the Border Collie?"
"No, wait.  Hold on, girls!"

Sigh.  Here's what got her all excited:

I mean, sure, it's pretty and all, but you would have thought it was something really cool!  Nothing to really get that worked up about.

That being said, we decided to make our own excitement!

    What a pretty flower. I'm glad your Mom could get you out for an adventure. When Dad is gone, I have a dog walker as Mom has a hard time with her knee if I pull or move to one side suddenly. But I love my dog walker.
