Thank You, Colorado!

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie!  Springtime in Kansas means many things:  storms, prairie burnings,  wind, and never really knowing what season it is - just to name a few.  Yesterday, our temps got up to over 85 degrees.  After Mom and Dad did a bunch of yard work, we went out on the deck with Mom to admire their handiwork:

"Very nice job.  You have treats, right?"
"Can we go in now?  I'm hot."

Overnight, the winds shifted and blew in some lovely weather with windchills in the 30s.

"Put your ear wind-flaps down, Mags!  This is some nice walking weather!"
"Is this great or what!?!"

I'd like to thank the good people of Colorado for sending us the cold weather!  You're the BEST!

Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

  2. What a difference a day makes. Kansas weather might be crazier than NC weather. I don't think we've ever had 85 then windchills in the 30s in a 24 hr. period.

  7. Aside from the wind, we thought the temps today were great - we might have a hard freeze tonight so we hope all the pretty flowers abloom will be OK.

  10. We are in the 50's today with the possibility of measurable snow on Sunday. We aren't as excited about that as you girls might be. We'd send it to you if we could! ~ nose nudges Belle Pup
