Thank You, Colorado!

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie!  Springtime in Kansas means many things:  storms, prairie burnings,  wind, and never really knowing what season it is - just to name a few.  Yesterday, our temps got up to over 85 degrees.  After Mom and Dad did a bunch of yard work, we went out on the deck with Mom to admire their handiwork:

"Very nice job.  You have treats, right?"
"Can we go in now?  I'm hot."

Overnight, the winds shifted and blew in some lovely weather with windchills in the 30s.

"Put your ear wind-flaps down, Mags!  This is some nice walking weather!"
"Is this great or what!?!"

I'd like to thank the good people of Colorado for sending us the cold weather!  You're the BEST!

Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

  1. Hawwooo! Nice and chilly here in Laramie this morning too!!! Play bows,

  2. What a difference a day makes. Kansas weather might be crazier than NC weather. I don't think we've ever had 85 then windchills in the 30s in a 24 hr. period.

  3. My daughter says you are welcome!

  4. mom says mother nature has been drinking....warm on Tuesday, chilly yesterday, almost freezing over night and high 70s today. weird

  5. I'm with you girls. I'll take the cooler weather over the hot temps any day of the week too!

  6. This morning it was 7 degrees but next week we are back to summer with the high 20s! Weather is crazy these days.

  7. Aside from the wind, we thought the temps today were great - we might have a hard freeze tonight so we hope all the pretty flowers abloom will be OK.

  8. From 85 to the 30's! That sounds great!

  9. You are very welcome, my friends!

  10. We are in the 50's today with the possibility of measurable snow on Sunday. We aren't as excited about that as you girls might be. We'd send it to you if we could! ~ nose nudges Belle Pup

  11. the weather everywhere is insane, my Mother used to call this time of year "pneumonia weather"

  12. 85 to 30?!!! That's crazy! We had big changes here on the east coast, but nothing like that!
