Anyway... I found another block with the kit-cat fabric in it (on the floor, oddly enough ... DAVE!) ...
"Kitty Cat!" |
...and told Mom to go ahead and put it back up on the design wall!
"Knock yourself out, Mom! No, really. Dave said it would be OK!" |
Oh! Before I forget! See the long wall-hanging behind me? Our sweet friends Sadie, Isabella and Angel asked about that. Yes, it's little hearts with pix of our dear sisters Stormy and Amber - and me and Dave. Here's a better look:
Mom made it back in 2002! Above it is a star bearing a pic of our great sisters Jesse and Lucky. Thanks for asking about it!
Anyway, since Dave was busy ...
...I decided to have Mom add a few more fabrics to the quilt. Here's one:
And since Dave put (click here) a certain fabric in, I thought this would be appropriate:
Ha roo roo roo!
Here's a look at what we've got so far:
Not bad for just grabbing out of the scrap basket!
Oh... and Dave? Don't worry! He's cool with this whole thing!
Besides, our Auntie Laura sent
"There are NO CATS on this fabric. I'm Dave ... and I approve of these fabric packs!" |
Gotta keep peace in the family, right?
Play bows,
Zim
haha - good one Zim!! Get your way AND get a quilt. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it is most appropriate to let Zim have that quilt. I am pretty sure there are plenty of kit kats sprinkled throughout it. Now Dave will just have to get Mom to make him one out of those new fabrics. Be careful Dave, it looks like Zim is trying to hone in on your duties as GDFTCB.
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
Cindy & Nina
Your mommy is SO talented! LOVE her work! I am certain your help is appreciated also! Found more quilt sightings....you are really inspiring Beth to quilt faster than she usually does....she is really slow....but that's okay!
ReplyDeleteNice job of lending helping paws.
ReplyDeleteIt appears there are hidden cats everywhere! Actually, those cats look good on the quilt. That is a huge quilt for you Zim. Perhaps you and Dave and share it.

Loved the quilt with Stormy and Amber - made us feel a little tearful.....but not in a bad way. That is a very special quilt.

Aww love that wall hanging.
ReplyDeleteThat new quilt is looking awesome!
I think it looks really great. Good job, Zim! It's good that you and Dave have an understanding about the feline fabric.

Zim, you're very sweet to add kitties to the quilt! We really like the quilt with your sisters Ammy and Stormy too! It's very special as are you two boys!
ReplyDeleteAh, the disappearing art of compromise! Good to see how well it still works. Maybe we'll send your post to every member of Congress :) Enjoy your quilt, Zim.
