I generally start the day when Zim does - somewhere between 0330 and 0500, depending on what we have on the schedule. While Zim and Cammie take our daddy on a long walk, I give Mom some exercise by playing with some of my toys. Here I am with an Extra Large Wubba:
Me and my really big Wubba |
It's fun to play with!
"What?!!?" |
Oh. You think it's too big for me? Well, I do have a much, much smaller one:
"Is this better?" |
I like to rotate between them. The little one squeaks better, but I love to chase after the really big one when Mom throws it!
Don't worry. I don't bring it back. How would Mom get more exercise that way? No, I generally carry it somewhere else, then she has to come get it. It's the Siberian way.
I get to go on lots of short walks with Cam and Zim throughout the day, and if it's not raining, we get to play on the deck for a while, too. Here I am, chasing leaves on the upper deck:
Sometimes, I even snuggle with Mom for a minute or two out there, or we take silly pictures.
After some exercise, it's nice to find a comfy spot to sit down, like so:
Does anyone know what "Your Aunt Cammie is not a cushion" means? No? I don't, either.
In the evenings, unless there's something on TV that I especially like, Cam, Zim, and I usually play our Crazed River Otter game. Take a look:

"Oh.... Zimmie!!!?!!!" |
We were just waiting patiently for Zim to get a drink of water, then join us. It's not like we were going to ambush him or anything. Reeeeeally.
Not very often, but sometimes during TV time, I do this:
Normally, I don't do that until I'm inside 10 Downing Street, but according to Mom and Daddy, I'm doing it more while I'm out in the living room and they're very pleased with that. Oh, if the umbilical cord/leash is off, I'm in full-fledged crazed river otter mode ALL the time, but that's because I'm a puppy. It's what I do for a living.

"No, really. Being a crazed river otter is an occupational hazard." |
I don't mind being on the leash one single bit. It's helping me learn that I can play with toys and chill out when I'm not in 10 Downing Street. And that I don't have to constantly jump Aunt Cammie or Zim. Who knew?
That's a wrap for Photo Finish Friday. I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend!

We think it's hilarious that you're using Cammie for your cushion, Maggie! She doesn't look like she minds at all!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥

Cam not a cushion? Really? She looks like she's a great cushion! BTW, we're glad to hear that when your Mom tosses toys for you, you don't actually retrieve them - I think if you actually brought them back to your Mom, they'd revoke your Sibe card, even at your young age!

PeeEss: 0330?!? Really? During the week our Mom is an 0445 person, and she's not usually bouncing out of bed at that time of the morning. (And she's usually grumbling something about how "there should only be one four o'clock in the day, and this one isn't it". We have no idea what she's complaining about...)
You sure are having fun Maggie. My favorite toys are my Wubba's too. I love the ones that squeak.
