I spent a good deal of time with one of my new toys by FatCat:
It's a Freeze 'N' Chew toy. Mom wets it then puts it in the freezer in its own special bag. Like so:
I'm about to start losing my puppy teeth and I just want to chew EVERYTHING! This is very fun to chew and is quite soothing. I highly recommend it! They are very durable -- the same people made our Big Mean Kitty; he's been around for YEARS!
I also spent a lot of time with Zim and Cammie, of course. Most of the pix of me and Zim are blurry for some reason, but I actually had some "holding still" moments with Aunt Cam. Mom loves these first two:
Cam and Mini-Cam |
There's a chance Cam and I had been doing zoomies and rough-housing a bit and were doing our best to look innocent when Mom caught up with us. Do you think we look convincing? I decided to take the Innocent Look to the next level:
Aunt Cam and me, looking very innocent. Because we are! |
Seriously. How could she accuse us of anything?!? Oh. And it helps to lay on something pink to accentuate the whole "innocent" thing. Trust me.
Mom also caught us holding still in the breakfast room:
"Hi, Aunt CamCam! Whatcha doing? Want to play?!?" "Sure, little one!" |
I seem to remember running around like crazed river otters very soon after that shot was taken. That could explain why there's only one photo.
Oh. See the pretty tree outside that window in the photo above? While I retired to 10 Downing Street for a while, Cammie went out and did a photo shoot/run around time with Mom. Here's one of her photos - right in front of that tree:
Cammie in front of the Purple Ash |
The tree is a Purple Ash. It's full of yellow and purple leaves! They're very fun to pounce on and are quite tasty, in case anyone is wondering. Cammie will post the rest of the photos from her shoot tomorrow!
Zimmie took Mom to the Kansas Ocean this week:
They saw a new-to-them duck, possibly an Eared Grebe. Mom said it was really tiny and Zim said it was really shy (even around him!), so Mom's pix didn't come out very good. They'll just have to keep checking for him and maybe they'll be able to get closer!
I haven't been to the Kansas Ocean yet, but I have caught a fish!
Right there in the living room! Can you believe that!?!? Now all I need are some chips to go with this.
Happy Friday - have a wonderful weekend!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

Oh dear. Your mum was right, Maggie. The cuteness is off the scale today!
ReplyDeleteAuntie Trace
You and Auntie Cam sure know how to look innocent even while plotting crazed river otter action. Hope you get to check out the ocean soon.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
Your innocent look schooling is going very well. The weather outside has not been great around here so there has been lots crazed river otter action in our house too.

Maggie, you have that innocent thing down PAT!! I'm very good at it myself ( have mom wrapped around my paw, actually) but for one so young, I'm truly impressed!!
ReplyDelete-Otto
Keep the innocent thing going with Cammie, Maggie. You've almost got it down! *wink wink*
ReplyDeleteGosh, mom used to just wet a stoopid washcloth and put it in the freezer for me. Your frozen chew toy is 10 times more stylish!
Love ya lots♥
